If you're looking for a great game that's a ton of fun with the boys then this is the game for you. Devs are always trying to fix a lot of the bugs/balance issues the game can have and tend to be really open with communication with their patches.

A big point for this game is that you don't need to actually be good at the game to have a good time and bringing in a friend that's actually dog water at it can make the game even more enjoyable with all the crazy stuff they can get up to. Tons of fun and kudos to the devs!

Granted I'm barely under three hours but it takes so long to get going and to let you run around and do whatever you want to do. Night City comes off as any other generic 'crime sim' city that I don't really care much for the story/characters but the game wants to railroad you for a while to let it soak in.

It's also pretty lame to be a Corpo for a grand total of 20 minutes and then you're a common street thug right after. Dragon Age Origins did starting stories much better years ago and they had double the amount that CyberPunk has.

Honestly this game is a 50/50. It's fantastic for players new to the Souls series but Souls vets are probably going to be very disappointed. The Devs have admitted to balancing the game around Spirit Ashes/Summons so Souls Vets that are too stubborn to stop fighting a boss solo are going to have a rough time due to this game having the worst overall boss design in the series due to the fact it's the first Souls game not balanced for Solo play.

It's fun in the Skyrim sense of running around and finding random things to do, but it's clearly not as tightly designed as DS3 and the first half of DS1. Whether it's worse then DS2 or not is gonna take time to figure out.

This game is a huge downgrade in gameplay quality from DMC4 for a multitude of reasons. Dante's kit is a mess, most of the bosses are awful, the enemy roster is non-threatening, and the story is a rushed mess in the last third.

Now SE isn't even coming to PC, just play DMC3 and 4 instead.

Rather serious FPS issues even with a 1080. DMC4 and the remake are better ports from what I know, pick this up on console but probably not PC.

TLDR: It's a good game with a hate bandwagon on it. Has a slow start with good and bad at the intro story sequence. Where it shines is the Multiplayer with friends. Pick it up if you're curious, if you're super skeptical grab it on sale it's well worth your time and money.

You aren't gonna get anything fantastic with this game, you aren't gonna get those Metal Gear moments that really blew your mind when you were younger, but you're gonna get a game that's pretty dang fun.

The microtransactions are entirely background noise, you don't need them to do anything productive and the game dosen't even push them down your throat like most. You only need one save game, and you can easilly get by without using any other form of microtransaction that they have in the game.

The Spear/Fence complaint is something I see a lot, and that works out fine for the story and lower levels of MP but that strat starts to burn out real quick in terms of usefulness.
