Extremely brutal /w lots of replay value

The most balanced x-com games i've played. Still tough, but not brutal. Well, there is 1 brutal surprise level which kinda sucks because if you don't have an older save handy, it may be near impossible to beat since it takes time to acquire the right countermeasures. Anyhoo, its one of my favorite games all time.

about half the time the sound doesn't work. almost all the time the xbox 360 controls don't work. sometimes the video resolution is skewed and i have to reset it again. i have no problem with any other game on my computer with no sound and unable to detect the controller and not able to remember video settings. it feels like a half-assed port. i'd like a refund if possible.
