The game is ok for mobile port,

but the fact that singing monsters on steam is separate from the mobile version, is just bad business planning.

I don't care about progress being shared but, I can't friend someone that has been playing on tablet, is just dumb.

Dev is also selling some standalone sing monsters party game, but 40 dollars for indie party game with very limited replay value.

For people looking to get into ASA, the game is very broken. . .

Ai, acts like it has to many instructions to follow, half the time they just constantly spin around you and can't find you, or ai will just walk off in middle combat, they get confused and can't find the target.

So therefore, your tamed dinos are same way, very dumb. ( for unreal 5 the Ai is pathetic )

Cause of the broken Ai, your base is never in danger, alphas will never chew on your walls, very boring.

Official servers are a mess, they hitch all time, you have to wait for the server to retrieve inventory, from your chests or dinos, awful lag as of 2/16/2024.

Server crashing and roll backs on regular basis, this last roll back removed 234 pieces of wall, they weren't even made cause of roll back, just annoying.

The state of this game is really a joke, considering they had template to follow, ASE, I have seen small indie devs make way better Ai in unreal 5 so far.

So bottom line, I would wait and watch streamers on this game, they are not honest about the state of the game or leave info out on purpose.

No progression, boring game play, not even really a game.

Tried it couple times in solo matches, kept getting solo duoed working together, No thanks.

This is just a temp review till I have time, this game has so much wrong with it and is so broken.

Hit boxes extend past most dinos, Devs have no idea how fix it, they have tried multiple times.
So all the vets do is do swing bys with random bites and catch hit boxes and Devs say this is intended game play.
Some of dinos like the Sia can get bit on his tail (cause of hit boxes) but can't hit dino in face doing it?

Velos are able climb trees, do it at your own risk, you will be climing with 2.0+ velo and hit seams in trees that make u fall, the screen goes to a sky view then under ground crashes then u come back to dead 2.0 + dino, happens all time.
(hours wasted, and they want u record to get dino revive, your game isn't worth the trouble)

you can get sick in this game and need charcoal to fix it, half charcoal on map can't be eaten.

Devs have no idea what they are doing at this point and you can clearly tell this game lost its value.

Worst part is the community, the most horrible part of this game, vets act like this is some compettive pvp game, with all these bugs not even being addressed, 90 percent time they are killing smaller dinos and talking crap in chat, it really makes u guys look like fool not person got pvped.

Just about all vets mesh through rocks even though not allowed, basically these people take advantage of any bug or exploit game has, do it so much u master it, and then they think they are good lol.

I go 40/2 - 68/2, all times in competitive shooters and pvp, screenshots all over my pages but Beast of Bermuda will never be competitive PvP game.

they have fixed most of previous errors / bugs, but introduced so much more.

Official Server has been constantly crashing, along with client crashes also on regular basis.

New Sai model has been introduced, still has hit box problems.

Mega rats move is still broken, he able hit u and access his dodge move at same time.

Food and water drain rates are still little high, which makes anything 2.5 + a stressful hassle just to manage.

Idk, where fun aspect of this game is, the PvP is still a sloppy mess and suffers from latency issues big time.

PvE aspect of game is really broken and the Devs try to force u to play their way through the mechanics of the game.

All and All, I still consider it one better dino games out there, but, be ready for some broken moments.

A survival loot game that resets your progress at end of the season.

I am so disappointed I bought this , this is basically, European Escalation, with way less content.

Nothing new in game, expect a capture line that that shows u own a piece of land or if 2 ppl are contesting it, but what line actually does is allow the other player to know exaclty where u entered the territory. Cause it originates from where u enter the territory,

short sighted.

Other then that nothing new here.

Any of the earlier games they made are better buy right now, this game has zero content, doesn't make since cause they made 3 other games exactly like this.

This is another game that has lost its way, if it ever had one.

Dev has no vision of where to take the game, this game has clearly lost any value it had, if it ever did.

Game has been through 3 map changes, countless creature balancing ( which literally ruined the game) based of this toxic community suggestions.

Dev caters to content creators apparently, doesn't care what suggestions anyone else makes, even if they did help him most in beginning.

Last update just before this review, made huge strides to fix map but the island is tiny, when issue was brought up in the discord I got disrespected off the discord and had call out the Dev just get him to respond.

Dev will also get defensive when you make a suggestion, that right there is the true example on how to make a game stagnate.

Developer is literally learning coding at the expense of customers, imagine the audacity.
He literally lost keybinds in update and is struggling getting back, cause it is not his code.

( Developer is literally buying modules of code to put into his game, thats why he has hard time making any adjustments.)

If you purchase this game it will be at your own risk, I highly doubt it will ever develop into an enjoyable multiplayer game, more like a co op game you have log onto a server for.

as far as PvP, this will never be a competitive pvp game, or for that matter an enjoyable PvE game either, just no content to the game, after couple years of updates.

Sad part is everything the game is headed to, is everything I been telling him for years, but we had go through tons bad updates from content creators suggestions just to get there, I'm not a content creator, so my opinion doesn't matter.

If you decide to try game out and get on the Developers discord, make sure u are cautious and a yes man, when talking to the dev or on any channels or they will literally verbally attack you for any suggestion.

Almost forgot about countless needless resets, why cause he learning on the customers dime.

Developer also caters to this clan in game, that is where he gets his good reviews, so if you get on there you got deal with that, them being fed exp items and materials to upgrade gear, has done it countless times, who wants deal with that.

Another Epic fail just like his other unfinished title.

Update: haven't had any contact with the game or Dev, but come find out banned from forums, and been reported for stating a observation of his community, seriously this Dev acts petty and small in my opinion, stay away.

ya he will add anything u say, regardless if it is detrimental to the game, game has no vision no goal, no backbone.

Just some guy learning coding at the expense of his customers, This is online game with island about size of your palm, 3 spawn points for mobs, and if u say something ppl get defensive, epic fail before it even started.

MAJOR UPDATE

Replaced overworld map with a new map and biome to better suit the game graphics and performance.

Checked out game on 4/17/2024, WOW another new map and total map reset, what a joke, save your money people.

It is now 10/29/2024, no updates since 8/26/2023, Dead game, ruined by a selfish Developer and a trash guild, sad.

Valheim came out and it seemed like good game at first and for a early access game it was.

The game had some serious issues with the chunk system, being way to small and deloading everything once u step few feet in a direction, then damaging everything as you come back to reload your buildings / boats.

By the second or third patch they broke sync for some ppl, and as far as I know it still is broken, a few of my members of my community don't have best connections but they could play at launch and up to certain update.

after numerous hotfixes and little uesless tweaks, the game is pretty much in the same state its been in since launch.

No real progress for a game that has sold 95 Mil worth in copies.

Latest news, They bought a horse with development money so they can make field trips to visit this so called horse?

You haven't even really begun to work on your game and you planned this? But you have no plan for going forward with your game.

Now they are trying to float a board game of an unfinished video game.

I will start by saying, I never play top down or twin stick shooters, I have never been a console fan.

Now with that said, this game was a very pleasant surprise, Zcrew runs very nice for me on a RX 5500 XT, very smooth game play. I don't know where people are talking about optimization problems.

Bugs: The game came out on Dec 17th, not even a month old, Only bug I have encountered is some times when returning to the lobby the game locks but not the whole PC but still requires hard reboot to get out of it. ( hopefully gets fixed soon )

There are 2 classes to start and 2 to unlock later, all classes are unique and feel different.
During missions you collect money, crafting resources and blueprints, these are for crafting new and better weapons / attachments.
I really like the amount of upgrades for the characters and their weapons, hope this keeps expanding but plenty is there for a early access game not even month old.

I don't ever really write reviews but I thought it was needed for this game, its a very fun co op game and it offers plenty of challenge for 2 people.

I been having blast but don't buy a twin stick shooter and expect 1000 hours of gameplay before your bored and leave bad review, that just makes u the fool.
