Greetings Survivors!

We’re excited to release patch 1.2.3 - Islands and Farms Update!
In this patch more than 80 new items have been added to the game along with new areas to explore, swimming, new craftables and more! There have also been quite a few bug fixes in this patch along with some changes to the in game vendors as we continue expanding upon this system.

We have also enabled an XP Boost weekend for this weekend which will run until Monday, August 5th.
All players will receive double xp during this event and season pass holders will receive triple xp.


Modified engine configuration that should help with hitching when levels unload
Increased max fps (for 'display' option to 500 fps)
Increased Premium Listing Fee to 100 x-coin for premium listings on the Survivor Exchange (was 25)

Added new country helmet skins to the in game cosmetics shop
Implemented helmet skins in game (There will be an additional assortment released on the Season 8 Season Pass)

New lockpick system implemented, some objects will now require the lockpick item to unlock ATMs now require lockpick, difficulty is scaled by how much cash it contains (Jackpot being highest difficulty)
Safes now require lockpick, difficulty is scaled by how much cash it contains (Jackpot being highest difficulty)
New treasure chests found at island bandit camps will require lockpicks
Lockpicking is done by moving your mouse to the left or right, then hold a to attempt to pick the lock as shown in the video below.
Added new swimming system allowing players to swim in water unlocking the new island areas to be explored
Vehicles can no longer enter water and will explode if they do so

Added 'Press E to loot all' from containers
Ping on map UI will now use assigned 'ping' keybind instead of middle mouse button
Improved helicopter transporter UI
Changed 'refresh' button on server list to be refreshable every 1s
Added current weather conditions to HUD
Removed decimal from ping location indicator
Fixed an issue that caused hair to clip through helmets in inventory preview
Updated vendor UI
New islands have been released along with bandit compounds full of loot and heavily guarded
Farms area has been completely revamped with it’s own special loot table for the farms
Base building has been blocked around bridges - This was necessary with the vehicles being updated to no longer be able to be driven through water as was mentioned in a previous announcement. Bases that are currently blocking bridges are subject to removal by the admin team as prior notice was given that these bases would no longer be allowed
Adjusted damage multiplier from 0.2 to 0.15 (making them slightly harder to destroy)

Fixed a bug that was causing vendors to under pay for some items that are not sold by the vendor normally
Added vendor prices to all new items
Increased the price vendors pay for Meteorite Dust (Note: this is a temporary change as Meteorite Dust will be used for weapon upgrading in the future)
Added crops and seeds to the vendors for purchasing (Note: not all crops and seeds can be bought from a vendor and some must be found at the new farms area)
Added higher level weapons to the vendor (Note: the price displayed in the vendor is the base price for that weapon, and the final price is dependent upon your character’s level and the rarity level of the weapon being purchased)

Added 30 different crops and 30 different crop seeds that can be grown using planting boxes - These can be found at the Farms - Note: Crops that are being grown will have their progress reset on server restarts. As this is still experimental, we will be looking at a solution to this in the future.
Added new craftable items including Planter Box, Beehives, Chicken Coop, Barbed Wire traps, and Landmines
Added Base Lights in an assortment of colors
Added new food items including fried egg, crops that can be grown and consumed, and more
Added Coral, Sponges, and Seaweed that can be found in the ocean areas
Added knife melee weapon

Vehicles can no longer be driven through water and will be destroyed upon entering water
Adjusted AMV physics collisions
Added vehicle spawn to prison
Implemented fix to help with vehicle spawning under the map on map load
Fixed an issue with player exit location on disconnect / force client close
Fixed ATV Storage
Fixed AMV Storage
Fixed Buggy Storage
Added Horn rebind option to settings menu

Added farm animals to the farms area - Note: This is experimental and more wildlife is planned to be added to other areas of the map in the future.
Improved the AI system for wildlife

Added ability to add favorite recipes
Added crafting recipes for Planter Box, Beehive, Chicken Coop, Barbed Wire Traps, Base Lights, Landmines, and more!

Fixed an issue causing some overlapping of base parts as well as floating parts in some edge cases. Note: This is experimental and we still have more work being done to prevent players from being able to stack walls and doors against each other for base building
Fixed an issue where vendors were not paying the proper amount for items
Fixed an issue causing players that are disconnected while in a vehicle to be spawned under the map
Fixed an issue with storage on vehicles
