I first played this game on an Amiga 1200,it had svga graphics better than the pc i later purchased in 1994.Wish the pc version looked as good as the amiga one.

You can grow strangely fond of the soldiers in game as you see the growing stats they gain, and the missions, simple by the standards of today can be highly addictive.

Fighting to take an enemy base against psionc alliens.

Best for me was fighting mutons on battleship maps ,the modern X-Com game is good...but this is where it all began.
