Fantastic turn based game, in the same vein as Xcom. The Warhammer universe is done really well here. If you immerse yourself in the universe and imagine yourself as a Grey Knight, you will understand the difficulty. You are outnumbered in nearly every mission. You'll feel like the game is purposefully cheating against you. Reinforcements arrive, many times at the worst possible time. Late game, your knights will start to feel more powerful, but until you unlock some of the better skills, you may end up feeling frustrated. The difficulty in this game is no joke, play on the easiest difficulty if you want to beat the story with minimal frustration.

I loved the weapon and class variety in this game. I wish some of the classes were more readily available. In my campaign playthrough, I only ever received 2 Paladins and 2 Librarians. Both are really fun to play.

The expansion IMO is good buy, it expands on many things in the game, notably enemy variety and mission variety.

If you like turn based games, this is one of the better ones.

Fantastic game. Quick turn-based gameplay. Great characters, great PVP, great community. Multiplayer is a blast!
