This is a real fun game with lots of crafting and construction. Delivers the feeling of beeing a lone settler! Me like.

Saw this thing online that made me belive I could put three videos on my three monitors and use them for an animated background with this app - nope. Only .mp4 and only one at the time. I can not search for triple monitor backgrounds exclusively and the tip for triple monitor is to use a 4K one and spread it out... look awful. No, this was not for me.

If you have one monitor, go nuts - three? Nae.

This game is one of the latest in my new favourite genre, where the sole objective is to stay alive for as long as possible.
Take the feeling you had while watching Jaws for the first time and mix that with the joy of the first Far Cry game and you might have an idea of what this game is. It's not done and there are some issues but it's an alpha and I cant wait to see what's next.

The game needs more features to keep players playing, I want more of everything. I want to make a giant raft, build a skyscraper, grow my own crops, visit bigger islands and be able to haul materials between islands - and why not a MP-feature where you can hook up with other survivors and/or steal their stuff. Perhaps some dangerous land-animals or a malicious band of smugglers who want your head. I want to craft more stuff, and I need a cheese-helmet.

Ok, that cheese-helmet I can live without but other than that... Help these guys grow and deliver a kickass game. Stop reading and buy! Hurry up and buy! ;)

I love survival horror games. DayZ currently at the top of my list. The Forest is currently an alpha but already have pretty much everytning you need to have a pretty sweet game. The biggest beef I have with this game is that it will not let you play or learn before you are killed. Sure, there are ways to survive (basically just hold block) but thats stupid. The natives attack you almost directly, even if you try to hide and 6-7 chops with the axe don't seem to scare them of... The game do not feel hard... just unjust and kinda stupid. I want to be left alone for a while at least to get set up and/or understand the game... I played it 10-20 times and have lived for several days, have been caught and made it back... this game can be a really great game but as I see it now, the biggest problem is not with technical issues, its the game mode itself... Last time I played I had a gun with unlimited ammo, at least that gave me peace to build... now that gun dont seem to work, it just gives of a cloud I cant see though...

Idea is good, game had all the makings of a great survival horror game but I need more. More crafting, more time to build and a fighting chance against the cannibals. And for the love of good, get rid of those revolving doors! Why would I want a shed that anyone can walk into and kill me... Still... I like it.
