This game is the wet dream of every Aliens fan, but you should know that playing this could lead to serious war flashbacks on LV-426. If you decide to sign up with the marine corps you will be on an an express elevator to hell, going down!

Be prepared.

Welcome home, Isaac Clarke.

Besides all the ranting of so called "Gamers" and the hate this remake got months before release, calling it woke, left-winged or right-winged or whatever ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ people come up with to place their political opinions in a form of art that is purely meant for entertainment and not politics, this is just an insane remake of one of the best horror games ever created.

So let me tell you this: if you've ever had the tiniest bit of love for the original game you need to play this remake. The developers managed to keep the atmosphere of the 2008 Dead Space. The feeling of beeing totally alone in this huge steel leviathan, the desolation, the horrors, the blood and gore and then these rare moments of happiness when you've finally found a NPC who is still alive to talk to and you wish that the conversation never ends because you'll never know what lurks around the next corner.

The new graphics, effects and especially the lightning create an even darker, grim atmosphere than the original game delivered and finally Isaac Clarke has a voice which I find one of the best additions to the remake because I don't really like silent protagonists but that is of course, a personal preference. I always liked his voice in the second game and they've managed to hire the same actor to voice Isaac Clarke again. Really good choice.

Thank you Motive for keeping the mood of the original game untouched while making it way more brutal and darker than the original. Outstanding work and if you ever plan to remake Dead Space 2 I'd be happy to throw some more of my money at you.

Easily my game of the year, every year, for the rest of my life. ^^

Meanhwhile in Poland...

Since my early gaming life, started in the Commodore Amiga age, I dreamed of a game that lets me explore an endless universe and now I can finally do it.

I will always love you for this game, Hello Games. You're like some kind of 25 year late Santa Clause, fulfilling me a childhood wish of being a space explorer. ^^

Ok guys, here's the thing...listen up: If you have someone that you really care about, wife, fiancé, girl friend, best buddy, doesn't really matter as long as you are in good company when this person is around. So if that is the case I highly recommend you get this game and have the time of your life. Insanely fun experience.

Thanks Respawn Entertainment for giving me back some of the feelings I had as a kid while watching the first three Star Wars movies. The looks, the sound and music and the light saber duels gave me goosebumps and a good Star Wars vibe.Thank you for bringing back a bit of that old school Star Wars feeling that I thought was lost long ago and which Disney will never achieve, even if they release a hundred new Star Wars movies.Stay safe and continue to be excellent. ^^

Now this game was a pleasant surprise. I bought it when it was on sale because I like to support indie devs from time to time.

Being a gfx addicted guy I totally dig the art style of this game with the mix of high and low poly graphics, excellent job devs! ^^
What is even more important to me is the fact that this is the first game in years, or even decades that gave me back this "Another World"-ish feeling. If you're a bit older you might remember that old game from the glorious days of home computers like the Commodore Amiga. IMHO that game had this feeling that you're totally lost and alone on a strange, hostile planet without exactly knowing why you're here and what to do. I felt exactly the same when playing Planet Alpha.

At first I wanted to play just a short time but I got sucked in for several hours on the spot because of the outstanding atmosphere and soon I forgot about reality for some hours. ^^

So I highly recommend this game but be aware if you're a gamer that needs the constanrt FPS action with bullets flying all over the place all the time then this might not be your cup of tea because it is rather slow-paced and the gameplay is running from left to right and jumping most of the time. No BFG and *pew* *pew* in this game. ;-)

Personally I have to say thanks to the devs for this little gem that puts me in a mood I thought was long lost in modern games. Awesome job, I would've also bought this full price considering the fun I had with this game.

It hurts to say that about my once beloved Metro franchise but this game is a bloody mess of bugs all over it and i wouldn´t recommend it to anyone. With the latest patch for the Sam´s Story DLC it all went to hell and i could not start the game anymore no matter what i tried.

So i contacted the so called "support" only to get an email with the useless standard stuff, update your drivers, uninstall this, uninstall that, bla bla bla and after the fourth time they requested the logfiles for the error (which i sent once via their website and twice via email) i gave up. Some weeks later i managed to even get the game running in DX 11 with nearly everything disabled that makes an AAA game look good so i could at least finish the game and the problem is 100% on their side because before the DLC patch this game run nearly perfectly fine on my system with DX 12 and RTX.

So don´t get me wrong here even i would not recommend this game but if you´re one of the few lucky ones that get this game running without major bugs or crashes then go for it. The story is great, the graphics are awesome (especially with RTX, i could play one major level with RTX ON before the crash hit me) and the atmosphere and action out of this world.

So as mentioned above it hurts my heart to say, especially as a die hard Metro fan who bought all the other games without hesitation, i cannot recommend this one and as Deep Silver already got their Epic money i guess this piece of bug ♥♥♥♥ game will never be fixed.

I really had high hopes for the DLCs and wanted to buy them at first but they managed to ♥♥♥♥ over even the die hard fanbase and because of that i´m done with the Metro franchise. I´m totally disappointed on how they treat their customers and the product they are selling. Nice job 4A Games and Deep Silver but luckily there are countless other games to kill time from devs that seems to know a bit more what they are doing and how to NOT ♥♥♥♥ on their fan base, the people who bring their beloved money.

Fix your mess Deep Silver, put the DLCs on sale and if i´m in the mood sometime in the future we maybe could talk again about buying your stuff but until then i´m out.
