But anyway, the solution to your question is simple: the developers of WPE added a parenting system to the layers a while ago. Now you can just right click on a layer and select the parent for the layer. After that the child layer picks up the location, size and rotation of the parent which is really helpful.
Unfortunately, I can't do any big projects right now like I have in the past, but I don't plan on giving up on WPE completely, so I'll be posting some smaller things in the future. Feel free to check them out as soon as they appear in the workshop.
