I have been playing online games since duke nukem. I can't even remember the name of the silly software you had to install to find servers. (was it Kali?) Then the 10 network came out. I did most of early multiplayer on quake CTF. This was my golden age of multi player, before I discovered that those people who always seemed to be perfect shots were cheating. Once I became aware of how many people were cheating the golden age ended and I pretty much stopped playing multi player anything. I tried left for dead but that seems to be a stomping ground for children working out thier emo frustrations.

I pretty much only play with trusted friends on anything I do now. I prefer games to be cheat free, no special rules (I hate it when servers tamper with gravity), and coop mode.

Minecraft is still my game of choice, but I have my eye on Day Z. Right now its a mod for arma II, but a standalone version is in the works and I think I might wait for that before I really dive in.

Rift-- MMO

I wanted to like this game, But I don't. The world is cool, the idea is cool, the class system is cool. But I am bored stiff with it. I think the difficulty in finding a group to do anything is what is boring me. Nobody wants to group until they are level 50, which is the max level at the moment. So all the lower content and dungeons are for the most part just skipped. I decided I would sit down and not do anything until I had finnaly run a dungeon I wanted to do. five days latter I still hadn't done it despite constant asking in multiple channels for a group. It became a public joke that I was wasting my time trying to enjoy content when I should just be leveling to 50 so I gave up and quit the game.

Minecraft

This is hands down the funnest game I have ever played. First you get to build and build and build. Then the sun goes down and it's like playing left for dead. So many monsters spawn around you that you find yourself running for your life frantically trying to fight your way to a safe location. It has absolutely no depth, and is really a very boring simple game at heart but I find it fascinating. I just can't stop playing it.

World of Warcraft cataclysm

I love wow, I have been playing it since it began and I have been hooked all the way. I thank you blizzard for introducing a cure for my addiction. I HATE this expansion so badly I cancelled my account a week after the patch that brought its changed live. Why I hate it would take far to much space to record. I don't just hate one thing, I hate many, many things, for lots of reasons.

Bio Shock.

I love this game world. I hate the idea of killing little girls no matter how they explain the reason for it. It might be just a game but I found the very notion of it eroded my soul. Fortunately you can beat the game without killing them, but it sort of hampers your progress until the very end. If you can look past that little issue it was a solid game, but it started to feel alot like halo after awhile, a lot of the same stuff over and over.

Halo 2

yes I finally got around to playing this game. I hear I might be behind the times. I actually kinda liked this one. It was still the same kill badguys in levels that all start to look the same, but they did a little more variety this time. I still found myself going insane over being out of ammo every 20 seconds.
