Play the mods. The 1.0 version is sort of bad, all you do is look for magazines, and there's no way to actually delibrately work on the skills you want to develop.

The game starts with the Firefly logo turning into dust and blowing away. What an apt metaphor. Thank god this game was free to play this weekend. I would never have been so pissed about losing 10 bucks in my life. 2 crashes in less than 3 hours of play and many fewer features. It seems like Stronghold for dumb people. Good/Evil items are gone entirely. No siege Engineers workshop, No honor system or decorations.Best thing I can say for it is I ran into fewer (but not none) graphics bugs than I did with Stronghold 3.

A nice successor to the others. My only complaint is I wish the AI was a bit better so it didnt have to compensate by just giving them a metric ♥♥♥♥-ton of ships. If you want to win by any means other than conquest you have to have enough ships to pull off the conquest - and then do somethign else.

This game is good but I dislike the model they used to pay for it. It really feels like they broke the end of the game and the missions off the game and are selling it as "DLC." The end is extremly abrupt, and the DLC came out a couple weeks after the game did. Seems like a cheesy way to get an extra 7 bucks.

That said, its a good zombie game. I like the home base mechanic, it makes it feel like you have somewhat of a safe zone without ever being truly safe. I agree with some of the other posters that the cars make things far to easy. It would be nice if the cars or other loud noises put the zombies into a sort of 'frezy' mode, where they did more damage or something. Despite the warning not to use cars, I usually drove everywhere in one, because it was not only the fastest way but also the eaisiest way. The story is decent but nothing really new, but then you wouldn't be looking at a zombie game if you really wanted 'new" now would you?
