Excellent game so far. The PVP is done perfectly. It needs some balance touches of course but lots of fun. FIRE!!! YARRR

Edit: YARRRR NOOOO I dont know what the devs were thinking but this is just dumb. I know 9 players who all deleted the game or won't play anymore due to some ridiculous design choices.

First one, taking away the tickets. This was used to decide strategy in the game and when it is a bad idea to go attack by boarding. As someone that often got the captain role half way through a round and would run up from the gallows, I was at a loss to what had happened so far and whether a grapple or defensive position was needed. When this was brought up to a friend of the devs, they said those people were on their way out any ways. Wait what? So we loaded this game, wanted to play but saw a terrible design choice, told them that, and the logic is we were leaving anyways?

They added maps I personally suggested volcano and the ice one and was ignored in my post and yet you actually made the maps. Really? Couldn't have said great idea or these are on their way already. No you just took them straight out. The post is even still there over a month before the maps went in.

They made it so canon adjust firing distance with a mouse scroll and no extra powder needed. I cant even begin to tell them how dumb this was. So a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ canon.... on a moving ship... cant be adjusted left or right in any sort of way but some how the up and down can and the distance by just scrolling a mouse. This was added to make captains require a spyglass and to check distance? and what does the canoneer have to do with the ship Captain actually doing more. Half the crew ignores the distance entirely and just fires. We can check the exact distance of a ship across water and aim canons up and down on the fly but we cant tell how many spawns we have left?

The devs added some new weapons and without even considering the balance ramifications, tossed them into live patch. Immediately had to nerf it and probably did again but I couldnt tell you as I deleted the game now too.

One patch after another of poor choices, not listening, ignoring reddit posts, telling us we were on our way out. Well its easy to go out when you get pushed.

Oh. We were even hosting a server of the game and closed it. Oceans of Anarchy was becoming quite popular. We won't waste our time with these guys anymore.

Still waiting for some kind of regular pricing system. Sorry devs, this is not a startling revolution in gaming. Drop your ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ prices or get out of the way. There are a dozen games that are going to swamp this one at the rate you update and the fact you charge full game price for dlc. You just don't get it or you are pompous. Either way, you lose. I couldn't care less about the game anymore. Servers still disconnect players at random while playing, only to come back and find all the players are gone or different since its not even a real online community. It is stitched together. Charge accordingly for your stitched together game if you want people to at least try it out.

Apparently meeting your promised features does not matter but releasing it on more platforms does. After a year of waiting for the multiplayer, the sole reason I bought the game, I am still left waiting on Chucklefish who took over development, to finish the multiplayer that a modder has already managed to pull off. Chucklefish who has proven they lie and do not listen to their customers won't even set a date or tell us anything about the progress. Steam won't allow refunds now either. I will just delete this from my game list then seeing as it was a total waste of time with "features" you pay for that don't exist a year after full release. For all the fanboys, updates are actually code implementations or expected dates. Rewording "we are working on it but have no idea when it is coming" is not an update. That is what Chucklebutt did with Starbound. They didn't learn their lessons then either.

*Edit* this game is so amaze balls you are not allowed to have an opinion of it. If you do not state pros and cons, the community will disparage you from talking about it. If you do not play the game as long as others, you may not talk about it. You must write a review just like the thousands of others because that is what this game needs. It does not need content. It does not need multiplayer. It needs more reviews with stale input. Thanks community, apparently I dont want to play multi with you anyways.

*Edit* So they released co-op and it matches what the mod version was doing but a cleaner method and no bugs, so bravo *slow clap*. Finally playing through with a friend and it is ok. Has some neat ideas and the approach by the dev is nicely done. Game play was very repetitive after a mere hour of play. You slowly get more things unlocked to keep you busy but they are even more repetitive, but of course this is farming.... dig dig plant plant nom nom.

Overall I would rate it a 6 out of 10. If you are into this style of game, you will like it for sure. If you were looking for something new, this might not be for you. Hit and miss, not for everyone but nice to play with a friend. This just barely gets a thumbs up as it took way too long to release the co op which made it a 6 instead of a 4.5 without it. If the dev hits this quality and gets their dates in order for their next game, I can see an 8 right out of the gate. If he gets a little more innovative with his ideas, 9. Improved art details and some hand drawn art incorporations would be a 10! Some more story depth or a professional writer could ramp this to 11!

Mind bogglingly good. After the mess up activision tried to call diablo 3, I can truly say these guys took up the torch properly.

Everything from the graphics, sound, voice overs, music, to the skill trees, dynamics, classes, and then the loot drops, legendaries, boss fights. *slow clap*

Its a really good ARPG and it can not be stressed how well they have put it all together.

My only con so far has been the lack of diversity in missions. Someone has yet to come up with great story mission ideas outside of killing this thing or collecting this item by killing this other guy. If you know this going in because that has always been the nature of ARPG and loot quests, then you will love every minute of it, even dying.

Bugs are minimal so far but I know some people have been unlucky early on with some strange issues. They seem to be fixed after a few patches.

This also allows for coop pve or pvp. One more reason to give this a go with a friend or two.

Game wasn't bad but the developers sued a former worker for making a successful game... ie they chose to steal from the Ark dev team. To that end, I deleted it off my games list so I do not have to see this on my list anymore. I will never ever support sue happy developers. You ruin the industry with that kind of action.

Wait wait woh now... JTF ... meaning joint task force which is the JTF2 Canadian special forces sent round the world for terrorist infiltration and covert ops was just taken out by some random jail scum and apparently left themselves open to attack more so than a peacekeeper mission while handing out food which they do not do. They some how didn't see guys in bright orange walking up to them under zero cover and didn't bother to setup any guard points nor over watch. However these random inactive squad members are much better at this than JTF2 apparently. Maybe they should look up what JTF is and does instead of trying to make it sound like this squad is better than them for absolutely no reason. JTF also doesnt wear those threads. In fact, it is not fully known to what the load out of JTF2 is because they are the most secretive branch of special ops the world has ever found out about. Nearly all of their operations are black ops or redacted.

No, dont waste your time and money on another bad remake of terraria. Community was driven by people playing music for each other and cheating. Give it another two years of development time, no joke. I do not trust Chucklefish to release anything worth playing for at least that long.

*Edit from new stable patch out early 2015* Seems they have tried to work out some kinks a year too late and failed on almost every regard. Worlds are still empty and useless. Local NPC are still useless. Mobs still look like freaky pokemon who switch a body part or two when you go to another planet. Weapons are still not matching the combat style, possibly because they changed the combat so many times. Guns still feel gimped but I do enjoy the way it uses energy now. Still no reason to make a base on a planet seeing as your ship is more efficient to store items versus flying back to grab stuff. Houses and building in general seem pointless and dull with nothing put into the game after a year waiting. Nobody asked for aesthetic furniture that does absolutely nothing, thats called filler. I can see you put it in to fill dungeons and prefab loads because they were empty but then decided we can make it too, again defeating any reason to go the other towns unless you want to steal instead of build it. Moddability functions are still stripped from the game. I was able to redo so much more in this game with ease but now not much of it works. The missions are really bad so far and not one thing added is memorable or new. This is a painfully slow progression towards nothing so far.

Game does not work for a lot of people and the solution straight from Ubisoft tech support was to reformat and many people state that was the only way this game worked properly. Absolutely awful. Could not get a refund as I did not know it didn't fully work until playing it a bit and then steam wont refund as you've played "too much" of a broken game. Out of 10 or so hours logged, 90% was spent troubleshooting trying to make multiplayer function what so ever and to access the coop missions. Single player functioned but it was nothing special, all done before by the series and felt empty to me. NOT RECOMMENDED TO ANYONE! Forums are full of veterans to the series quitting and calling this one the worst one. The series is done for me now as is Ubisoft yet again. Welcome to the gamingblacklist... where I never buy your crap again.
