This game has a lot of potential.

Pros:
- Its different and original
- It can be played solo or with friends
- PVP can be avoided (most of the time) if it isnt your thing
- Very responsive developers who regularly update the game
- Fast load times
- A good amount of classes to play, you wont get bored there
- The high roller idea, high level cap and rolling resets mean you dont get to the top level then get bored

Cons:
- Im not a massive fan of the combat system. Movement speed plays such a huge part in it that when a melee class fights a ranged class you can spend the whole fight just being kited and sniped. Very frustrating
- Graphics feel a bit outdated but you wont really notice it once you start enjoying it
- Fairly steep learning curve. Its a rough one at first but very much worth the time put in to learn it
- Very short time limits in the maps. You always feel rushed to do anything and this can make it very hard to complete quests as it can take 10 mins (out of 15) just to move through 3 rooms, let alone move from one side of the map to the other to reach an objective. Time limit should be 30minutes i feel
- You cannot buy the game through steam you have to use the in game shop and its currency, which is strange.

Overall, a great game. I am excited to see where this goes in the future.

I waited until after Sony decided whether they were going to try to force us into giving them our data or not before writing this review.

They caved to pressure from the player base, so well done lads, democracy prevailed.

The game is great, it looks good, its not a game with no depth (unlike another similar game set in the starship troopers universe). It does not have a huge amount of depth but that is ok for two reasons.
1. The game play is so fun and variable (via changing difficulty, mission types or enemy type) that its hard to get bored.
2. The Devs release new content on a regular basis, and not your typical lazy devs who update frequently but with simple skins and cosmetics giving you nothing of substance. These devs drop in new weapons other game changing toys fairly regularly.

Speaking of the Developers, they are great. They arent American or British, which means that arent drenching their game in Woke S#it. They are making a game that is based on interesting ideas and what is fun, all the time listening to their customer base for feedback. They arent filtered through some PR stooge from corporate HQ, so when they Tweet something or sent a message out it appears to be simple, honest and unfiltered (by some HR team). A rare thing in any industry these days, which makes me trust and like them more.

You have likely watched videos about the game so i wont waste time writing about the game mechanics etc.

The last thing i will touch on is the games most interesting mechanic which is JOEL. JOEL is a staff member at the developers office (i believe) whose job it is to be a Games master for HD2. By which i mean he can change and manipulate the game at any time from the micro (affecting enemies in the game you are currently playing) to the macro (causing a suprise sudden invasion on the galactic map).

I believe that this will be the future of gaming. A human, or group of humans, who can change a persistant online world so that they game Never Gets Boring. It is always new and full of suprises. Add to that that we will be playing it in VR and then we are finally in The Matrix....

i digress, the game is excellent and now Sonys dirty fingers have been slapped away by a united PC fan base, i believe this game has a massive future and will set standards for future game design

Edit: I neglected to say anything negative about the game, mostly because there arent many negative things to say and those that there are will mostly likley fixed by patches in the future. My one grumble about the game might be that first person mode isnt great, it feels a little clumsy and pasted on without much care.

Again, great game, Again, superb writing, atmosphere, graphics. Worth a buy! Support the good smaller studios that arent afraid to make a good game without any wokeness in it

I gave this a bad review after first buying it as it was unplayable due to bugs. Now, it is a beautiful game that runs smoothly.

in short:
Fun Factor 4/5
Great fun once you understand your role.
Graphics 5/5
Just beautiful
Maps 4/5
The maps are beautiful, some are a little too linear but a lot of them have some great open areas.
Replayability 3/5
Things do feel a little stale after a while when playing in PUGS but with friends it always fun

Improvements on Vermintide 2:
- The melee feels more impactful and enjoyable, as does using ranged weapons.
- Walking around inside wherever the area is where you can shop, customise your character and select missions is a nice touch, it immerses you in the 40k universe nicely.
- GONE are the unbelievably annoying, immersion breaking voice over lines. The ♥♥♥♥♥♥, nagging, stupid, unfunny lines that appeared to have been written by some woke, blue haired student. They couldnt be turned off and frustrated the S*%t out of everyone, but they are GONE! Praise The Emperor!!!!
- Excellent voice overs and character custominsation (including chosing your voice actor!)
-Ogryns!!!!

My only real main complaint would be that it does feel a little hollow are a couple of months of play. The missions are fairly simple so games blur into one. Not much stands out after a while.

I think this can (and hopefully will in the future) be improved by:
- Adding more missions types, things to do in mission etc (not just push button, defend against horde)
- More skills and abilities to use on each class
- More classes
- Public game hosting (meaning host your own game)
- A more complex melee system like Chivalry 2 so you can chose more specifically which strike you want to hit an enemy with rather than the very simplistic melee system in place.
- More special and elite enemy types

There have been complaints about the Item shop being a bit of a scam, and rightfully so, but you dont have to buy anything.

Overall i recommend it to Vermintide veterans and 40k lovers alike. As long as they keep patching and creating content, this game has a great future!

This game is simple, and yet very complex. Same map, same items, same heroes (although there are a lot). Yet it is sendlessly replayable. It has a steep learning curve but it pays off once you get it. I've had a lot of really great games over many hours of gameplay but I cannot recommend its game, for 2 main reasons thst time together.

1. Itstakes a long time to play a single game, after waiting for team pics, the inevitable pauses in game etc the average game is about 45 mins and can go over an hour some times, and half the time you will lose and so the feeling of spending an hour + to lower your rank, is a nasty one,

2. The infamous dota2 community. There are a huge amount of angry, beta teenagers on here, some countries have a lot more than others, play the game for a week and you'll soon find out which.I have played more games than I can count where one of these Muppets gets angry at something ridiculous and throws the game for the whole team. Yes, a single player on your team can guarantee the loss for all of you, and worse still it can take and hour to lose that game. You cant just quit a game that is being thrown by someone else, or you will be put in the low prio queue and be forced to play multiple games with the worst of the world's Muppets (which has taken me uo to a week to win 5 low prio games as they constantly fpeage quit, feed or afk) to be allowed to play with mostly normal people again.

It's easy enough to just go ark if you think you're losing, which should surely be easy to fix, why not have A trust community of moderators that can be called to A match at the click of A button to observe A troll and drop them into low prio immediately, and each time they go there the punishment gets more severe, a 3 strike then a perma ban should whip the litte scrotum into line.
A game that could be amazing but ends up just making you hate people, as toxic as it comes

I Never Write Reviews. Look how many hours i´ve played Total war: Warhammer and it´s successor. I Still haven´t gotten around to writing a review.

I got Lone: Far Sails YESTERDAY and i played it all night. Its so atmospheric and other worldly, so original, so beautifully drawn, so unbelievably fluid. When i thought i´d found a place to get stuck, i always managed to find an exit/solution within a few seconds.

I love the storyline, if you can call it that, the journey is a better way of describing it, and there are a couple of underlying themes, metaphors for life that give the game a happy, spirit lifitng vibe.

10/10 boys

Completely liner, would have been a good game about 15 years ago, but just a fairly average, at best, game nowadays
