We Were Here Too follows its predecessor nicely but as a more completed game with better graphics and puzzles. It balances out the roles a little better than the first game with allowing both players to feel like they're contributing to the puzzle.

Overall the puzzles were fantastic and felt very unique, but there were a few puzzles that were annoying. One of them was: finding the hidden sigils in the sewer drain - which btw were absolutely impossible to read with bloom enabled (gpu is an RTX 3080). I don't particularly enjoy hidden item games, especially so if there wasn't a hint to look for it. I'll admit it's possible it was written in the book, but the texture quality was so absolutely poor (even on high quality) that we didn't even attempt to read any of them. I'm glad my friend played that role first because he somehow stumbled upon them in the first few minutes by complete happenstance, but when it was my turn, even with him indirectly hinting that I needed to look for hidden sigils, I still couldn't find them.

A nice mix of timed puzzles which felt great for giving the players that feeling of panic. A notable one was: the disappearing staircase with lava below. But the downside to that puzzle was requiring the other player to quickly find which one of the many doors had opened, especially with what felt like no directional audio queues. . We absolutely hated the timed maze because it wasn't a puzzle but instead required agility and immediate communication, even with the stopped timer when standing on a checkpoint.

We loved the one puzzle the game board with knights because it required teamwork and communication to understand what the other player was dealing with, and for me, that puzzle alone was the highlight of this game.

Great introduction to the series and I had a lot of fun as the Librarian on my first play through. Some buggy moments with the projector which took me several attempts to learn that I needed to walk slowly otherwise an item would fall out of my hands. For a student game it's a solid 10/10!

For a game that is so simple, it's amazing at how addictive it can be. The strategy is well balanced and just when you feel you're bringing your A game, something comes along and kills you. I enjoy this a lot.

Voice acting is top notch. Writing is very lifelike and believable; with grunting, laughter, jokes, disapointment and fear. The relationship you develop with this woman Delilah is gripping and has you yearning for each radio interaction. Graphics are absolutely gorgeous and I found myself admiring the view along with the sound effects of the wind or birds etc. An unpredictable ending will leave you feeling foolish for guessing the story and outcome completely wrong. I highly recommend. I miss Delilah and Henry.
