So while I kinda enjoyed the game, I was sad to see the dev removed any feedback on the game on the discussion area.

That aside, its a interesting concept for a game. Instead of a putter, you use a shotgun to play. Single shot puts, double show it more powerful. And of course you can putt with the butt of the gun. Each hole is random and is unique. You also have a system where your gun durability goes down overtime, thus causing you to misfire more. And you have to smoke often to have less anxiety or else this golf guy comes out and kills you if you don't kill him first. The "shooting" of the ball is really random. Standing over the ball doesn't shoot it as far, shooting it from behind the ball (more or less) shoots it farther.

There are three holes per floor. The floor flips over and a new course appears. After three you take an elevator and move on to the next floor. There is a small vendor that lets you (from what I seen) slightly increase things like your gun durability, smokes...etc. Like... barley. You get money sometimes from the course (seems to be based on how well you do).

Now here are the issues:
1. You can't heard the guy that kills you. Often you die not even knowing he's there as he doesn't make any sound.

2. The holes are very short, but you have limited attempts to get in a hole. And since not even skill can save you (to some degree), prepare to die ALOT and have to start the floor over. Once you use up your three chances you get shot by a gun on the ceiling.

3. The hardest thing to deal with is the durability of your gun. Again, the low it is, the more you misfire. So around 35% I would go to shoot the ball and misfire endlessly. My record being 19 times in a row. Which means, you have to wait, reload, try again, miss, wait, reload....etc. It got really tiresome. And with the evil guy that shows up, misfiring means your pretty much dead as he's fast.

4. Shooting the ball is really about luck unless you are pixel perfect. And even then sometimes you ball doesn't go where you expect it. Thus missing chances and dying and starting the floor over.

5. There is no music.

6. There is no story really. You start in a basement tied up, theres a guy, you get your gun and start golfing. Not that the game really needs a story. But I'd be more inclined to want to play longer so I can see how I got there and what it going on.

Now I can admit maybe this game is supposed to be be hard and luck based. But I after over an hour I got frustrated and stopped playing. Only got to the 6th course/hole because my durability was at 35% and always ran out of chances, enemy would kill me, shotgun ceiling would kill me, or I'd misfire constantly. Your only real option to start a new game really. Which even then feels hard as even you are perfect with shooting the ball, your durability still goes down crazy fast. Maybe you will be lucky and make it to the 3rd floor (holes 7-9). No idea how you would make it to 18. Assuming there is only 18.

So is this game bad? I mean if you like games that drives you nuts because they are impossible, no. But if your like me and don't mind a doable challenge, then yes. To note, the concept again is fine. The graphics and sound is fine. I MAY try this game again in the future if some changes are made. I had suggested a difficulty choice. Like easy mode giving you way more durability, more coins, more chances...etc. Maybe have a trade off of slowed reloading? Who knows. If there no changes or difficulty added, then not interested.

By all means, despite my review, check out the demo at least. Cost nothing to try something. And it may be up your alley, especially for its unique concept.

I mean, its $1. Can't really complain about the length. I've played all the hidden cat games and love them. Simple yet fun. Find hidden cats. Not much more else to say.

GMOD was interesting when it first came out. But now its pretty useless and they changed so much that its a bit confusing. And trying to find help is hard. If this review was years ago when it was big, it would have been positive. The workshop is also really crappy compared to regular content you can download fro it from other sites.

I played this game briefly at a friends and have been waiting to get it for a long time now. Finally banned it on sale. Though its regular price is well worth it. If anything this should be at least $10, I'll explain that later.

So what is this game? Well its not really a game. Think of the Sim City but themed around Cyberpunk, Blade Runner, NeoTokyo...etc. Also without any stress. There is no money, no time limits, no disasters, no city managment. In this simulator (I guess?) you just casually build this themed type city. You have a random seed for a map, but it still has a preset square of land you build on.

All you do is pick from various sections of buildings (like downtown buildings, smaller ones, high end ones) and place them down one at a time. You can make them taller or smaller, rotate them...etc. And the taller/shorter you make them also changes how they look. And they creates tiny buildings around them. Helping your city to look like it has more going on in it. There's not exactly a massive amount of building to choose from. But there are enough for you to mess with a Blade Runner type city you always though about making.

And past that you can also stack buildings. Which means blending themtogether to maybe create newer looking buildings. There is even a prop section that lets you add, well props. Helpcopter pads, industrial segment, sat dishes, neon signs...etc. Billboards have a few options to choose from for you holobillboard. Or you can just upload your own images to the game to use one them!

You can even type out letters for custom signs. These letters and the hologram billbaords are also customizable to any color you want. Along side brightness, opacity...etc. You can place down varied hologram displays. Or skyways that make it look like hovering cars are flying around. Though as you build your city, you will see more and more aerial flying traffic just flying. Though you can also adjust how much traffic there is or even time of day, fog, weather...etc

And now they also added roads and trams. These aren't anything to deep with traffic patterns or accidents...etc. Just basics to make things feel more alive with cars on them/trams moving about. There is also a light brush that lets you paint lights on things. By lights I mean detailed holoboards and stuff. For those who don't want to place one at a time, these tend to be a bit smaller but a few brushes around some buildings makes it look like a city center all lit up.

There is also a photo mode that takes SUPER high res photos. Along side photo options to mess with many aspects of taking photos or even a camera system that lets you move camera to two spots cinematically without having to do anything but hit play and enjoy the view.

Now, overall there is not a ton of content. This is why the game is so darn affordable. However the reason I say its worth $10 easily is they just opened the Workshop recently. Which as you know tends to help games live on with more content. As more people add things, it will be great! I saved my city for more content updates. And the devs have a road map of other ideas floating around.

TL;DR Buy this is you want a care free, simple, stress free "sim city" type game to just build the Blade Runner type city you always wanted to see. It may not last you for lets say 10 hours, but for a few bucks, its worth it for anyone who wants something like this.

Pros:
-It looks a better then before

Cons:
-Everything else
-To bright
-Even with 40xx cards people get some issues
-Crashes alot
-New NVIDIA driver black screens your PC (I know not game related)
-Everything seems "fuzzy" as there is no video options outside of the RTX ones. AKA no AA.
-You move now like everything is made of heat and your butter
-Despite RTX, it doesn't look that much better. Portal did a better job with RTX
-Key word "Demo". You get Ravenholm and Nova Prospekt. only

Amazing game. I honestly can't think of any issues.

So story wise its actually pretty good. They gave just enough lore to make you understand this company/place exists in the HL universe. Sort of like a competitor to Black Mesa. That said you will notice there is a certain degree of "same thing as before" sort of events. Your a scientist at a lab, theres a incident, fight aliens, the soldiers, then assassins, then go to Xen. However they do enough between maps, textures and other stuff that it doesn't feel like some cheap knock off of the orignal story.

Gameplay wise the levels are pretty nice. There's much more outdooor levels, which I kida of liked as Black Mesa sort of felt the same afterawhile. Like you were usually underground/inside something. Sure, there are a few moments where the layout of a level doesn't make much sense. But often its because those moments involve puzzles. Still, they did an amazing job. Everythings feels like it could be a real world place.

There is alot more times when you have to have certain people come with you to do certain things for you. It really added some more depth. Past just the simple "Use this eye scanner doctor!" Some people can open doors, some can turn on/off things...etc. This carries over into the puzzles, now when you approach something that looks useable, text pops on screen to say things like "You will need someone who can fix this" or "This requires a charged battery".

I won't spoil the end game stuff but it does involve you having a "friend" with you and it was fun. I really enjoyed that this friend was added. At first I wasn't sure but the friend grew on me.

There are a alot of new weapons. To some degree I kinda like this group of weapons more then HL or HL2. They feel well thought out, they feel fun, they are great. Though the only useless thing is you have a crowbar. Which you don't really need as you also have a wrench again, but its so OP that it renders the crowbar useless.

Puzzle wise, I read that a few people found the puzzles hard or were confused what to do next in some maps. I'm not a "amazing gamer" like I used to be when I was young. But I didn't really have any issue except for in one map. But it was my fault because when I went through a door, I didn't notice the giant hallway to my left. They did a nice job of using subtle hints with the enviroment to kinda show you "This thing is useful" or "This thing can be used later by someone else".

There aren't really many cutscenes or anything. And the game does end abruptly. But they do their best to tell you whats going on so your not stuck wondering "Well what happened next?".

If I had to nitpick and find some issues there would be two:
1. For whatever reason the mouse movment to aim felt.... weird. I had just played HL again a week earlier. But in this it felt sometimes to fast, and yet to slow at the same time. Eventually I had to use raw input option and mess with my mouse DPI (4200) for it to feel normal. Not sure what caused it. Could just be something on my end. It wasn't the end of the world once I fixed it.

2. There is an option turned on by default for enhanced textures. No lie, at first it REALLY annoyed me. It felt like someone put a filter on every texture that made everything looked scratched up and almost blurry. And yet more detailed. But afterawhlie I got used to it and when I tried turning it off, I missed it. Then again the human eyes tends to adapt to things like this so you don't notice them afterawhile.

Overall I am so happy I seen this game being played on Vinesauce or I'd never had heard of it. It's free, so you got nothing to lose. And there are achievements for those who are into that stuff. Some are pretty fun and I got by being a sociopath it seems. The game took me 5 hours. Maybe about 50 or so deaths. Though some people have beaten it in under 3 hours.

I will say, on Normal, I was always out of ammo and always dying. I had to turn it down to Easy through the console. But as it goes on you get more weapons so you don't need your melee as much and thus don't die as often.

So, the first game I was mixed on. Mainly because some of the puzzles were crazy hard to figure out. And of course it seemed really unpolished. Though I realize it was more or less a proof of concept really.

This game though. Wow. Is it triple AAA quality? It's kind of close. And it WAY farther then the quality of the first game. Honestly I'd happily consider this canon as the quality was so well done, the story was well done, everything was well done.

This game really ties into the HL series, more so HL2 of course. Your going to get access to things many of us only wished we could see in HL3, if it ever actually gets made. And the game goes beyond some short little "Here's something I threw together!" There are new weapons, many voice actors, a ton of levels, some deep lore, new enemies, new concepts, new bosses. It even delves into other HL games that in the same universe, if you know you know. I won't spoil it. Also the puzzles are a bit more easier to figure out this time. They don't have super out there ways to solve them.

Again there is alot I can't say as it will spoil it. But if you play this, you won't be disappointed. This game feels like a whole new game compared to the first, in EVERY way. If not for seeing who made this, I'd just assume it was the HL2 team who made this as a smaller game for fun. That's how good it is and how well made it is. And its free so.....

Now, do I have any issue with it?

Yes. But none are enough that they made dislike the game really. Just very minor things. Like sometimes the sound balance can be a bit weird sometimes. Also one of the items you will carry around sometimes can send you launched off into the sky and cause you to fall to your death. It only happen three times, so not a big deal as the game saves often. It was more funny then anything else.

I did try the game on its hardest mode after beating it once and get destroyed. I know its probably a skill issue of course. But the game at times can still be a bit harder then HL2, only if you choose the harder difficulties of course. Not really a complaint mind you.

So what are you waiting for, install it. It's free and you have nothing to lose. I can't find many who dislike it really.

This game isn't bad per say. I really loved the idea that your a combine cop doing your job. Kinda fun to be the bad guy. While the game is not super polished, you can tell they had some ideas in mind for it. I especially love one of the early levels where you basically have to wipe out citizens in City 17, trying to sneak around, then turn around turrets on people...etc. It was a blast.

My biggest problems were for starters, its very short. 4 short chapters. Maybe 2 hours long. I played for 4 given the biggest issue of all....puzzles. Some of the puzzles had such odd methods to solve them, you wouldn't really know what to do unless you looked it up. I didn't like having to look up a a guide but I had no choice.

Again, I realize this isn't some triple AAA game made by a giant team. So I can't faulty them for the puzzles being hard. But it really takes you out of the game. And the game is harder then HL2 is for the most part. Which I didn't mind to much, but I can see others may have a hard time with it.

Overall its a great little game to play since its free. I have heard the second game is much better though so I'm looking forward to it!

MALWARE ALERT! Be warned!

So where to start. I'll ignore the dev is a known racist. The game is appealing for one reason, money. You can unlock bananas that can be worth a couple hundred on the market. If you happen to get one of course. Most are not worth much at all. So many are playing it for that. But there is a deeper issue here. I think the dev purposely made it this way so he can get it on everyones PCs.

Why? I'm guessing malware. Maybe a miner. A/V programs aren't finding anything. So it could be a newly made malware/virus. How do I know this? Like a few people, we seem to have issues with Banana. When its open, some people experience screen flickering. There have also been issues with the game causing people to not be able to shut down their PC normally.

Me? At first the game ran fun. Afterall its just picture you click on alot. But after awhile I started also have screen flickering. And after about 20 minutes of clicking, suddenly the mouse cursor kept slowly moving around the screen no matter where i tried to point it. I also heard and endless sound of beeping, like there was some weird error or something. I unplugged my mouse and the cursor stopped of course. But the sounds kept going and I could open anything, everything kept shrinking down to the task bar. I had to use my power button to force a reset.

I brushed it off as maybe a random bug. And yet, now the game being open still results in screen flickering, and it gets worse as I click. In my task manager, barley any resources are being used, which is a good thing.

But something is going on that is really fishy. And since many are having the issue, I'd advice people not to download this. It could just be malware in waiting. If you know how this stuff works, it may be triggered at a certain point. How else can anyone explain how a game that has a single picture, can be acting weird? It makes no sense.

And since some posts keep getting removed on the Discussions, should clue you in even more somethings wrong. Like I said, I've been around a long time now. This would be the best and easiest way to mess with peoples PCs. Have a totally free game, where you can click and maybe get something to score tons of cash on Steam. To good to be true!

Fun fact, if your looking to get a expensive banana drop, guess what? You don't. All the expensive bananas are either listed as no longer available in the drop pool or they are owned by the dev and his friends. After some searching I found some of the devs friends and they also happen to have the bananas.

So yes, to that end it is a scam for you to but their bananas, and they profit. Perfect get rich quick scheme. Oh, I've been banned from the discussions from mentioning it.
