it's a reasonably fun game with some enjoyable gameplay and some fun unlocks.

however

really fun to find a public server while you're still trying to learn the game, and you can't figure out how you can talk to your team to ask a question or to discuss a strategy. you know, because it's a team-based game. then you google how to communicate and find that the development team deliberately didn't put anything more than voice commands in, "to eliminate the possibility of chat abuse"

you might say, "well i can use an outside client like Discord", but that doesn't help when you're playing with randoms.

♥♥♥♥ this game. ♥♥♥♥ those devs. morons. i wish i had known that when it was still early enough to refund the game. if you're going to buy this, absolutely do not pay full price. wait til it's like 80% off and get it for like $5 instead.

Ruined before it even was released by bad press and microtransactions, but they fixed that, added a bunch of DLCs, and now it's fantastic, and a huge amount of fun. The game still looks and sounds beautiful, and the community continues to grow even 8 years later.

really compelling interactive cutscene. maybe all the gameplay was hidden in an area i never found.

i don't recommend this if you want an actual game but i do recommend this if you want to watch a really depressing movie that requires quicktime events to move each scene along

i'm glad i can get my 60gb back even if i can't get my 17 hours back

the game feels like it's half-finished from the lack of actual content, and it feels like they tried to make a game that feels like Brink (remember Brink? No? ok) but without any good parkour and as a weak excuse to try and sell cosmetics for real money. the few unlocks you do get feels like a grind for a lame reward.

the destructable environments is probably the only part that was done very well, and the game is pretty and has decent sound, but it just doesn't have enough meat to the gameplay to be long-lasting. it gets boring fast.

even for free, this game isn't worth the price.
