I just tried this game out and it was really fun! If you have played Realm of the Mad God before, then this game will feel very similar. There are some differences that I've noticed just in the first half hour of playing, and personally I really enjoy them! Enemy attacks have indicators shortly before they happen so you know where the attack will be and have just enough time to step away (or through) the enemy to not get hit. This feels more manageable than the (in my opinion) frantic and very difficult to follow patters of RotMG.

The music is also incredibly fitting for this game, I tend to watch shows on the side while playing games like this but I quite enjoyed leaving the sound on as it really enriched the gameplay in my opinion. The setting for this game is gorgeous as well, and it all ties together really nicely for a fun, action-packed adventure.

On a more critical note, the cash shop feels a little predatory, specifically with how coins are priced. I was introduced to the cash shop with a beginner bundle for just 2000 coins, so I checked how much it would cost to purchase just enough coins for that and the best option was 2300 coins for $20. I checked around the rest of the shop and didn't find anything else that could be purchased for 300 coins, which means I would need to buy even more coins to get to use the 300 coins. This may not bug everyone like it does me, but it is a trend in F2P gaming price models that I am personally tired of.

Overall, I would highly recommend that anyone who enjoys top-down bullet hell give this game a try. It can be downloaded and running in minutes and it's free, so there's nothing to lose.
