Balatro blackjack variant

1v1 fixed bet against AI opponents as you navigate a tavern in choose your path style.

Each player brings their own custom deck, and draw one card at a time. The higher value hand will do damage against the player with lower value, equal to the difference between the two values. If someone busts then the other persons value will be the damage value. If both bust it is a push. Rinse & Repeat until someone falls over. Winning pays out 1:2.

Cool concept but lacks incorporation of BJ basic fixtures like doubling down, splits, side bets etc.

I feel like they dropped the ball in the sense that it doesn't necessarily scratch the itch to play blackjack and could use some more depth/game modes

But I'll still keep playing cause it's close enough
