Great game, great developers that cultivated a great playerbase.

Very thoughtful and thorough design of the game mechanics that make an enjoyable and highly detailed simulation of what an alien invasion would be like. Some mechanics (such as ship designs/engines) are obtuse.

cool game. combat is more mobile and you use a good mix of powers to fight, and don't really do cover shooter stuff. Story is neat, and the little lore things are sprinkled around in pretty digestible bites.

Game mechanics seem like mostly shallow mini games, not very engaging. Might be good if you just like looking at Mechs.

Pretty bland, no direct control over colonists, lots of waiting for the resources you want to make happen even with the ability to prioritize processing. Colonists have no flavor to them other than a name.

Overall the game design seems really unfocused and it doesn't really do anything to set itself apart from other city building/DK-like games.
