While it may seem slow, the game is incredibly immersive. Difficult and terrifying in the first play through. I've beaten it a few times and am now going for the achievements, but I still highly enjoy playing it.

Like a mad-max themed rogue-like shooter with a large dose of Mario Maker. This game is very addictive and very fun. When raiding other bases, it's intense and punishing. One wrong move and you have to start over from the beginning. Every death you learn a bit more about the base and learn what tricks to expect. Beating a base is a very satisfying feeling, but what's more satisfying is the building. I built my first base the other night, and because I'm low level, it's not difficult, and it's small. However, one player who I'm assuming was also a bit newer based on how he was acting in the replays, died 3 times before clearing it, and all 3 of those deaths were fun to watch, like watching a movie you've seen, thinking "here comes the hidden trap he hasn't seen yet..." and seeing potential weaknesses in your base that could use touch-ups. It's overall a very enjoyable game, and I highly recommend it.

It is tricky to recommend but I still do purely because it is very unique. That said, it is HARD. This is NOT a short indie game, this is potentially a very long game with very frustrating puzzles and interactions. I kept telling myself not to look at any hints but eventually I did get a small one which helped push me in the right direction. After completing the game I learned about the many ways the story can go, and I'll admit the story is wild. It's well written, but there are frustrating moments of repetition which can be a bit of a turnoff. I'd say give it a try to experience it, but be ready because it is difficult.
