The game is rough- there's no way around that. However, the amount of charm present in its art and gameplay lets me look past the bugs and see the core of the game, which is fun. However however, the bugs and lack of polish are very present. If you're someone who is okay with that, I suggest you pick it up and give it a go, maybe you'll find something special and something who's success you'll root for. That's where I'm at, at least.

If you're reading this devs, keep up the good work. There's something special here, all that remains is to realize it.

Truly there is no other game like it.

Very, very fun game that unfortunately only feels like a framework at the moment. It is in early access, so it's going to change, however my point still stands. There's plenty to do, however since the game isn't finished, a lot of it is surface level. The best part of the game is simply hanging out with friends and going around the island, as well as the very well made minigames such as mini-golf and the fishing game.

Overall, it's one of my favorite games of all time and I have a real emotional connection to it, however I suggest either getting it with your friends or waiting until it's fully released. If you choose to play it alone, I suggest you play it like VRChat, where the socialization and weird people you meet are the selling point. Exploring the game on your own ends up feeling quite lonely, despite the breadth of content there is.

Final point, the game is incredibly charming, from it's writing to the world building to the characters. Definitely puts a smile on my face. You can tell the developers were members of 2000's Facepunch forums and something awful. If you're reading this devs, much love and thank you for making a great (but incomplete) game.

If you like creating crazily overpowered setups, clearing an entire room in seconds and broken english, you'll absolutely love this game.
