When I first wishlisted the game a long time ago (so long I can´t remember when I did), I saw this game as an interesting game, since most of the time you´re always on the criminal side of these city-centric story games. However I´d say The Precinct does an amazing job of showing a small snippet (obviously watered down but a good one nonetheless) of the job law enforcement does, especially in cities with high crime and the everyday dangers law enforcement faces even when they´re just doing on-foot patrols and such.

If I could rate this game I´d give it a solid 9/10, with my only gripe is wishing that there had been some more in depth expansion of Cordell's rise through the force (even if it was post game) with eventually becoming Chief of Police as a final objective and making things right.

Solid game and quite solid story, well done to all the devs and artists that worked on this game and I hope they make more great games in the future!

First game I played was FS 22 when the other platform that wont be named gave out free copies and I found it fun in a way I really can't describe. Pre-ordered FS25 and have already sunk over 70 hours at the time of this review, having a ton of fun with something that I can almost play in the background.

Changed my review from before. Still think Sony are a pile of rotting garbage for trying it in the first place.

HOWEVER! (And I heavily emphasize this)

I love Helldivers 2. I never really got to play the first game, although it always seemed incredibly fun and chaotic by what i saw over the years. This game embodies that spirit of satire and comedy in a nice package covered in Automaton oil and terminid guts. Im happy to see that it survived Sony's greed and gave it a bloody nose. Thank you Arrowhead!

(Note: I participated in the Open Network Test, so I experienced the Open Beta version of G.E.)

I...don't know where to even start with my review. When the game launched in full version, it started with more bugs than should have been allowed for any company (this I know has been a trend with most big AAA publishers lately, so take it as you will) and so far it seemed almost the same as the O.N.T., even some MS that completely stomped during the test were balanced, although some work needed to be desired when it comes to Barbatos when it comes to not only survivability via mobility (in the hands of a good player, its nearly unkillable and being 1 shot is not exactly fun when you have no counter or your in a casual match on your own.) but also the flow of his melee, with the awkward pause between slams, I I was left button mashing desperately as I couldn't combo properly by something I feel isn't well communicated via the summary for the MS.

The second thing: The locked mobile suits and how unbalanced they are (note these actually don't apply to every single one, but rather the ones that were added after the test like Unicorn and Melee Zaku).

I fully disagree with the unlock mechanism, encouraging players to pull out their credit/debit cards to spend at least 10-40$ USD on premium currency (which is unable to be earned normally even though the battle pass without buying said currency, which is quite dumb and nonsensical from a free to play, no paying player.) Now onto the mobile suits themselves:
-Unicorn: On paper and in the show, an absolutely amazing and awesome mobile suit, meant to be the support of the team with suppresion and AOE healing. Reality: A mobile suit that encourages players to move as a mob as a passive ability that is CONSTANTLY active nearly outheals most attacks from enemies short of G-Manouvers. THAT'S BEHIND A PAYWALL.
-Melee Zaku: Genuinely, this should not be much different from the ranged Zaku in the game, maybe its kit more geared towards mobility and brawling. seemed cool in the trailer. Reality: This 'thing' can easily 1v3 while popping invulnerability that cannot be countered by ANY means (which is really bad when it comes to coming up with counter strategies in my honest opinion, no matter if your waiting for it to end, Ill provide an equivalent example from another game: Waiting for a pholg pyro to finish using the MMMPH taunt in team fortress 2, except in the Zaku's case, it can immidately use any ability and get away with most things, short of soloing the entire team...except when he is using his g-manouver. This thing....this 'ability'....it genuinely needs to be changed. You'd think a barbatos could easily jump above it and stun him out of it. Tried it, the ability is a SPHERE of damage, which prevents barbatos from countering the ability. and other mobile suits struggle bar of trying to run away, which is a challenge considering I have seen a melee zaku zip from C point on Moonbase to one of the bases while still having ability time to spare.

Final thing, monetization (im genuinely getting sick of writing this so I will keep it brief):

Its a gacha game disguised as a hero shooter that heavily favors whales (people that buy everything).

If you are considering to try the game, either wait for more balance changes to come and maybe Bandai rethink their monetization policy for the game, or look for a different Gundam game, and hope its not fallen into the trap this game has sadly fallen into.

I've played a decent amount and even now I am still learning more and more about the game. You can't master it but you can get skilled enough where you can be a valuable asset to your faction and a target to your enemy be it with aerial support, vehicle support or leading a well coordinated Squad/Platoon/Fireteam of players.

Wait for the game to get more work done on it. The region locked gear mechanic breaks multiplayer balancing and the monsters are not balanced around you, I got monsters of 3+plus stars spawning right next to my spawn point, and it took over 20 minutes to get my friends together, who immidately died to the easiest enemy.

The game needs more work. We've waited 6 years, we can wait a bit longer to have the game playable.

I am going to be refunding this game for now, I really need the money for different things with the current state of the game.

Originally started off with the 8th ending, not expected it much, then I went working on the endings for the main horizontal axis of the endings board, some really funny, others extremely cringy and quite a few very heartworming. But when I reached the true ending, I geniunely cried, the story is so touching that I think I could easily play it again... especially considering that I think that there are a couple secret endings I want to get to...

So I recommend you get the game for the photshoots that are extremely fun, even on hard(which I did for every run as soon as I unlocked it), for the enveloping story and the good and bad moments. Nitroplus+ I take my hat off at you, you have done such an excellent job making this game that I think its the best one I've played up to date and possibly for a long time. Do not stop with this excellent work, keep making great games like this one.

A old favorite of mine, which Ive played since almost release(hell I even bought the IOS version of it for my first Ipod Touch) and loved every second of it. Now that I see this released on steam I have hope that the hundreds of awsome Paks you can find on old youtube videos will be dug out and released(even the massively improved Japan Pak, IT HAD FREAKING 4 STORY HIGH WAYS WITH WORKING ON AND OFF RAMPS!!!)
