Warframe really is an interesting beast to me. I've enjoyed most of my time played and don't regret my money spent, and yet I feel the game could be so much more. The devs don't seem to understand how to recycle content or make content replayable forever, with most missions having nearly nothing for reward and other ones having rewards that are useful exactly once, like frame parts. The warframes themselves typically only do one thing, and do that thing either very well or in a mediocre way, and the modular system does not majorly affect how weapons or frames are used so much as it does their ease of use, survivability, and damage. Sacrificing quality of life for power is a choice you'll be forced to make a lot. The updates come slow, and usually only have a few things to do before you're out of content once again. The game is more of a checklist than anything else, slowly running out of things to do at all times no matter what you're doing. That feeling never goes away and can even lead to regrets when you want to get through a piece of content as quickly as possible.

But those are all end-game problems. I do recommend Warframe because it is an exceptional game when you're new. The playerbase is helpful, the missions are fun, and at the time it will seem like there are infinite possibilities on how to play. Every other review mentions that you can play entirely for free, but that's not true. You'll need to spend a little bit of money if you really want to enjoy the game, but only about $2-10 minimum depending on if you get one of the relatively common premium currency discounts that go up to a whole 75%. Play Warframe for a fun game that will last you a long time, but don't expect it to last forever like a true MMO.
