This game screams "fun" and "relaxing" until you're on YouTube learning how to segregate roadways based on color

Game doesn't take itself seriously yet the level design and gun feel are extremely satisfying. One of the few games I had so much fun with I went back and beat it two more times. Also, I forgot to tell you - I got with your grandma

A very organic and well-crafted, immersive world. This game is far more about open exploration and crowd control, compared to the narrow passageways and one-on-one fights in Dark Souls 1. Despite the fact you lose up to 50% of your health on subsequent deaths, you can mitigate this by grabbing the ring in Heide's Tower of Flame, which is one of the first areas you find in the game. Even then, Humanities are surprisingly abundant, to the point where I had 70+ left over at the end of the game.

Some runbacks are awful (like the snowstorm with the two pets boss at the end), but are far outweighed by the incredible world design, dozens of weapons / play styles, and PVP with an unheard of amount of respectful / nice players (greetings at the beginning of duels, waiting for you to get out of a fight with an NPC, dropping Humanity).

The only thing I wish wasn't a thing is ADP, but once you level it enough to make Agility 100, the game gets enjoyable. And don't be like me and not realize there's actually four ring slots, instead of two.

Requires quick reflexes and mastery of the moveset and enemy behavior if you're going to get past A rank (I have yet to do so), but so far this is a great game. What really stands out to me is the level design, and how I'm constantly saying "nevermind, this is my favorite level".

I can't think of a time I got more addicted to a 2D platformer since I played Sonic 2 on the Genesis back in the 90s.

Difficult unless you use mods to design your own kitchen. If they gave you more flexibility, more useful items, and overall better layouts, it would be perfect. In general it's better than Overcooked in terms of gameplay, but not in terms of polish.

A very immersive scroll, point and click non-linear story that plays out on a web browser set in an alternate late 90s internet. An amazing attention to detail, fun music, and impactful storytelling make this worth playing regardless of whether you have nostalgia for the era or not.

Might be the best written game I've ever played. Combat is difficult (for me) but not unfair, and you end up learning where you went wrong and can reload. Fun to go around collecting things. SO many different little extras hidden around the game, making exploration worth it.
