The harsh and grueling reality of the game breathes such a fresh breath of air that it's hard to believe the amount of functionality this game holds.

From the freedom to build your own city where you please, purchasing slaves, or feeding the leftover limbs of you enemies to your pack animals. The possibilities that happen to your character(or characters) is practically endless and while the game might be difficult at first, it is very rewarding to move past the hordes of enemies that roam the land.

If there's one large thing to take from Kenshi, it's the dedication to refining the game. From the large list of mechanics to the way it seems to all wrap together, the industry as a whole could do well with taking note.

It just goes to show that when one person has a dream, they make something truly incredible.
