As a first timer to civ series, I've already spent more than 800 hours on this game. I still remember the first time I played the game and I was amazed by how players can achieve victory in the game and the endless "one more turn"...
Not only did I enjoy the game, I've also learned history/arts from it, I got to know a lot more classical musicians and tons of quotes from great literature. It's an epic game in a way that you can "lead" the direction of the world through unimaginable ways.
