One of the most (if not the most) solid farming games out there. Plus the seasonal events, well-written characters and various game mechanics (fishing, combat, etc.) makes this purchase a no-brainer. Also Linus is best character.

There is an incredible game if you like meeting awkward anime character users who think they're really funny and pretend to be drunk while their parents fight in the background.

Crashes after first cutscene. Unplayable.

EDIT: So I managed to get it working with a mod. Turns out it was an AVX issue currently unsolved by devs. It's on Nexus mods I recommend you get it if you're experiencing crashes like me.

EDIT: So about a week after launch they fixed their spaghetti code and it no longer requires the mod. Still ridiculous though.

So what is my opinion on the game so far?

GRAPHICS (5/10)
It doesnt run very well, but so far all bugs have been visual only. My characters hands are pretty ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up during car rides. People's lips don't move sometimes when they are talking. My character's hands turn invisible sometimes during cutscenes. This game is not as visually stunning as led to believe through marketing.

GAMEPLAY (6/10) (5/10)
The menus are not very good. They are organised really poorly and locating things for the first time is a nightmare. Gunplay is fun but very basic and a little clunky. Reminds me of a weird hybrid of Borderlands and The Division but not as realised. Melee needs some serious work. Driving is.... a challenge. This could be skill-based but it seems off. The way missions are done is very GTA V with the encounters. You have people call you and give you missions but you can also find wacky and interesting missions out in the world with map markers.

EDIT: Upon more exploration of the world I've realised how bad AI is in this game. Combat AI is braindead. Civilian AI is unresponsive while driving and very basic as pedestrians. Shooting a car while someone is driving never merits a response unless someone dies. The walking civilians are believable until you shoot at them or attack them. Then they just crouch and scream until they die. Or they just run away and disappear the moment they aren't within view. For that reason I'm gonna dock a point from gameplay.

STORY (8/10)
The story is so far the most engaging part of this game, even if there are some problems. I have serious issues with how your first year of night city is a damn montage. They missed a big opportunity with being able to discover Night City for yourself and forging relationships from the ground up. The relationship with Jackie feels kinda forced for this reason so when he dies it's sad but you don't really even know this character. I will say that characters feel very believable and are very well voice-acted. Their designs are great and CDPR did a great job with them.

OVERALL (6/10)
It's really not what people were anticipating and it's a little disappointing. I seriously recommend waiting to get this game. It is not finished and wasn't even playable until I modded my game.

This game isn't even complete and its already phenomenal.

EDIT: This game has got to win labour of love. I mean come on.

Easily the best game Obsidian has made in years. So much stuff in the game now since I first bought it back in 2020.

Great monkey game

Great game, scary and challenging. The end boss is hard as hell though.

Some awesome Silent Hill like gameplay and engaging characters. Rene is best character tho.

This game is a really fun casual game with good atmosphere and simple yet fun mechanics. Blasting spiders with a shotgun is very fun.
