sub-par story, bosses felt really easy, and i wasn't a fan of some of the characters, but overall it's the most fun i've ever had in a borderlands game from a gameplay and content standpoint. the game + the DLCs are all stupidly pricey, so i'd recommend waiting for a sale to pick this up. all in all, i'd say its worth a shot. play borderlands 2 first though.
