As somebody who never saw what promises were made for the game, I really enjoy Cyberpunk 2077. I play with a few mods to make it a little bit more immersive (More Netrunner hacks, Vehicle Combat, etc.), and I can confidently say I've had a great time. The world is gorgeous; half the reason I love this game is purely for the architecture.

If you go into 2077 expecting a typical shooter, open-world RPG with techy elements, you will enjoy it.
If you go into 2077 expecting the holy grail of gaming, you will not.
