Been playing possibly as early as 2013 on different platforms and have done pretty much everything in each major update over the years (1.1-1.4). This game has always been there through the good times and the bad. In terms of just being fun and fulfilling to play this is one of the best games out there. If you're a perfectionist and you start getting the hang of it you'll easily drop 100 hours getting everything perfect in your playthrough. With literal thousands of items and dozens of bosses/events there is almost always something to do or chase. The world is your canvas.
