[Pre 1.6 Days]
The story of xythER becomes in 1.4 nicknamed as Sinful, stealing a key off the net, a number of keys actually. He played with Dial on Dial-Up Server's as you do, was awesome. There he score 0-20 avg every map. Was fun he thought, losing, but it could be better if he actually won. He turned on some hidden skill and played snake while he died [became pretty good at snake]. 1.5 came, his hidden skill gone, he decided to play properly, with the introduction of famas and galil, what could go wrong? Yip yip 1.5. However it got boring, nothing statisfied him, without hidden skill it was merely losing every map. He decided to leave.
[The Beginning]
1.6 came out, he steals his best mate key before he activates it, this is it a new game, wow shield.....1 min later...boo shield, oh well lets keep playing. GA wc3 server was like having hidden skills and everyone had it, was awesome. There he met ez2sqz and a clan called clit (being young i did not know what a clit was), faking his age he joined the clan and started warring. Boy was he ♥♥♥♥. Every war he was anchoring, there were times were matches were won, he especially remembers the time he clutched a 5v1 that made it a draw on Nuke :]
The clan eventually died like all clans do if they don’t go anywhere. I took a break from scrimming, and I got to know a community called Internode. The best servers at the time. 32 players, always 32 till about 4am – 8am, then it’d fill up again. Those were the golden days of Pub for sure. I met three important clans, T.V.S, [n0ob] and [RH], the three main clans of Internode 32 players. I eventually created my own clan called the N1R, Node 1 Randoms, warring each one. Even though we beat TVS once, we couldn’t leave it at that. We did crazy thigns as N1R, we made the whole 16 team shield up Inferno, blocking banana haha, both sides, sighhhhh i miss those days.
Time passed, node 1 died, node 3 appeared. Don’t know why there was a change, I guess people decided that awping was a must for gameplay as Node 1 was –Awp. Reason why I don’t know is because I joined my new clan called point.1. I scrimmed for real, one of the members IHS later on became one of the best players in melb, dunno if he is of international fame, just know hes good xD anyway this is where I became fairly decent, to be somewhat amateur? Not professional amateur, just amateur. Clan dies I go back to pub and this pub is now Internode 3
[The n0ob Saga]
So basically N1R disbanded, TVS barely on, n0ob constantly changing their players and RH absolutely being ROCK HARD with the amount of people on. So what happens? A new crew emerges. The Dot Crew, having bits of TVS n0ob and new people in neither, RH was going down. Dot Crew was probably my favourite time in pub, :]
