The game just feels inelegant. I wanted something more polished. Ten years ago, this would have been great.

The production values are horrible for a full priced game. The interface fights the player intent. The voice acting is unengaging. The script and dialog are poor. The facial animation looks like something from the PS2 days. The worst part of the game is the animation. There is no blending, and everything looks choppy. At best this looks like a tablet game from 2010. It is in no way worth the $60 I paid. At $20, I would revisit. This was a fast refund decision to me. Going back to play Xcom 2, Phoenix Point, Mutant Year Zero, or any other TBS. I was optimistic as I have been playing 40k for over 20 years.

This is the first game I have requested a refund for. It does not use the IP in any creative way. The texturing is so muddy, unless you are using the pet, the enemies blend into the environment. If you want to run and gun like playing Doom, buy and play Doom.
