On the surface, this looks like a run-of-the-mill auto-battler. However, I quickly discovered that this game is much more than meets the eye. You can feel the heart and soul poured into it, from the art style to the music to the love for the 4X genre. It has the depth and feel of a strategy/board game but remains highly accessible.

After 7+ hours of play, I can say the $40 price tag is definitely worth it. However, this value wasn't obvious before purchase, which many potential players have noted in their feedback.

You've gained a big fan here, devs. Kudos to the team, and I hope more people discover this strategy game gem.

This is a top-tier game for me. It hits every aspect of a multiplayer 4X game all within 1 hour of playtime with beautiful art design choices that keep me coming back for another match. The simultaneous turn system is really well done as it keeps things moving and forces you to make hard decisions on the fly. In my opinion, it's a perfect mix of deep 4X strategy with very pretty space battles to boot.

Likely the best digital version of my favorite board game I could ask for. Highly recommend it.

I think its a great game. Hands down. This really should have released as a F2P. Apparently that's their eventual goal? If its $30 for early access, it can def be worth to some. I'm right on the fence, but at the end of the day, the turned-based genre is severely lacking, and this scratches an itch I haven't satisfied since XCOM2 first released. Hope it becomes F2P for everyone else!

With the help of mods and the Immortal Empires update, this is the best Total War title to date! For some reason, it plays much more smoothly than WH2.
