This game is very charming in it's trippy aesthetic! I really felt like it was a bad acid trip. Very challenging. I think an options menu would be nice though. <3 :3

One of my most played games for a reason. Keep coming back to it with or without friends. The gameplay is unmatched and I've been rooting for it ever since launch. They followed through their roadmap and they made even better dlc. It's a roguelike so if you don't like resetting after a death, I'd suggest playing another game. The death loop is not for everyone but once you get the hang of the mechanics and looting systems, hours will pass by without you noticing how much time you've spent on this game. And as always, friends are a core part of what makes this and anything more fun than it already is!

TLDR
Probably the best 3D roguelike out on the market. Good class variety and a LOT of mechanics to mess around with. Friends make it even better.

achievments are just like the game. boringly long. Good game though. Just really lame achievments

Art and concept of the game are stellar but execution of game play and mechanics are flawed. I do like the little pop culture references, but it's not very enjoyable long term. Especially because it is pretty bare bones as far as replayability. Meta strats are tedious and frankly boring.

Will I inevitably sink more hours into this? Yes. Do I have fun when playing this? Sorta. Is it worth your time? Probably not. This one lacks game modes and has a pay-to-win exp system. It's a shame because the game itself is really fun. The grind for cosmetics and heroes is also absurd with how pricy everything is. Though to be fair, I didn't really care about cosmetics until this game.

I loved the first one so much. It had so many fun game modes like "Bananza" or "Play with Fire". Those were totally my favorite and they only have ranked and casual modes of the base game. I liked how casual the first one was. The exp system they have is unfair to those who don't want to buy into their VIP system. The VIP's get straight up 3x the rewards. I understand doubling it, but three times is absurd. And the fact that grinding with the three times takes hours to unlock upgrades is telling of how terrible the system is. From how they're releasing new heroes as well, it's looking to be terribly grindy as they release more new ones. I do like the game play loop though and I hope they balance it out better. My top path wizard deserves some love. Anyways, good concept but poor execution. I like it, but I don't recommend it.

Short game but insanely story rich. It wasn't that scary, but it was incredibly fun.

bland and repetitive after awhile but features interesting skill system and rpg elements. I dislike the hud and combat is bland. Modding community is lackluster and there is little information on this game especially for how long it has been out.

Disclaimer: you should try it out if you're a seasoned terraria veteran looking for some more terraria-esque content. If not check out starbound as well.
