Will I inevitably sink more hours into this? Yes. Do I have fun when playing this? Sorta. Is it worth your time? Probably not. This one lacks game modes and has a pay-to-win exp system. It's a shame because the game itself is really fun. The grind for cosmetics and heroes is also absurd with how pricy everything is. Though to be fair, I didn't really care about cosmetics until this game.

I loved the first one so much. It had so many fun game modes like "Bananza" or "Play with Fire". Those were totally my favorite and they only have ranked and casual modes of the base game. I liked how casual the first one was. The exp system they have is unfair to those who don't want to buy into their VIP system. The VIP's get straight up 3x the rewards. I understand doubling it, but three times is absurd. And the fact that grinding with the three times takes hours to unlock upgrades is telling of how terrible the system is. From how they're releasing new heroes as well, it's looking to be terribly grindy as they release more new ones. I do like the game play loop though and I hope they balance it out better. My top path wizard deserves some love. Anyways, good concept but poor execution. I like it, but I don't recommend it.

Short game but insanely story rich. It wasn't that scary, but it was incredibly fun.

bland and repetitive after awhile but features interesting skill system and rpg elements. I dislike the hud and combat is bland. Modding community is lackluster and there is little information on this game especially for how long it has been out.

Disclaimer: you should try it out if you're a seasoned terraria veteran looking for some more terraria-esque content. If not check out starbound as well.

Satisfying gameplay loop.

Find your passion in this game.. It could be becoming a god-like infantry unit able to wipe out groups of people by yourself through willpower and skill. Be the aircraft bombarding the enemy tanks to support your ground buddies or perform dog fights. Be that tank on the ground that takes out those aircraft. You can become artillery and decimate enemies before they even reach you. You'll find a huge variety of ways to play this game. The only downside is that it is grindy as ♥♥♥♥. I highly recommend the membership if you are to get into this. It allows you to do whatever you want basically. That is the part that sucks. You WILL be limited by your "Free to Play" account because to spawn those vehicles, you need things called Nanites. They regenerate 50% MORE which really lets you spam vehicles way more than a normal player. There's nothing like this game and it's free. Just give each thing a try and try to join a faction and get to know some people. You might just like it that much.

TL;DR Many things to try. It's free. Just give it a try. Membership is worth for the enjoyment it gives you.

Co-op is flawed but get it for everything else it has to offer. Hardest game I've ever played.

Although I'm not even done, this game is absolutely amazing. I've never thought I'd get into a soulsborne game but I was enchanted by the mechanics and story. There's a learning curve but once you learn to appreciate why the game is so difficult you'll come to like it. The difficulty of the first boss is to welcome you into this game and to prepare you for whats to come. Took me 2 hours to beat that first boss, but once you get that ball rolling it just keeps going. There's so much to find out and so many characters you'll come to love or hate. The PVE side of this game is amazing. I do wish the co-op was more fluid and actually coop but I guess that would make the game too easy. There are so many classes and different weapons to use. Almost all of them are viable for PVE so you can choose whatever you would like. I haven't dabbled much in the PVP section of DS3 besides the phantom raids. And remember: Try finger, but hole.

Can't even play offline... Don't get me wrong it's a good game. So much content to explore and it's pretty fun so far with my friends but it's nonetheless a disappointment for me since wifi cuts off at 1AM and I can't play it after 1...
