Four hours ago to this hour I found out that my Dad died in the basement. Five minutes ago I found out that he committed suicide because he was being camped by Leatherface. I am sexy and sporty and grief-stricken and shrewd and zany and romantic and generous and imaginative and manipulative and reckless and ambitious and good. I have ADHD and anger issues and I used to smoke crack. I'm fantastic with flashlights. And I refuse to let the killers force me into being any smaller than the messy whole of who I am just because some parts of me seem toxic or braindead or immersed. They are. Survivors are.
