It's an interesting little piece. I have to agree that the movement is slow, especially in water. Outside of that I enjoyed the visuals and the experience of walking through these strange places.

I beat this one in about 100 minutes.

If you need a backrooms/pools experience and just want to explore and not worry about any combat or jump scares and just get lost in the world, this game will do that for you.

Nice graphics, nice mood. I wish it was a bit longer and the ending was not what I expected. A bit anticlimactic honestly. But clever in that it will probably allow for expansions or new game releases.

Through the mazes I often found myself taking the paths that were not presented to me, not the obvious route and this typically was the way to get through the areas.

Kudos. Overall I enjoyed it.

So I played through the first level. I really enjoyed it. I didn't see any actual performance issues.
Ryzen 9 5900x
AORUS Waterforce RTX 4090
64gb ram
Win 11

I hope they resolve the performance issues for others so they can enjoy this game.

Cool little tool. Look forward to seeing what other additions it gets. If I have any ideas I will send them to the discussions. I am curious if the substance formula the author used is the same one you can find out there on the internet. It's not perfect yet but it has good potential and it is fun to play with. I also like the different views you can get from it like the old-time map, and world view, etc.

While I give major props to Hello Games for coming a long way with this game I simply can not recommend it now.

Ever since the introduction of VR, they have continued to ignore left-handed support. If you are left-handed and want to play this in VR or buy it for VR purposes... don't bother. They will ignore you and care nothing for left-handed VR support.

[Update Dec 1, 2022]
Still no left-hand VR support. I will still admit t his game has come a long way but it baffles me that they would spend so much time with so many improvements but can't be bothered to add simple left-handed support in VR.

I had my doubts with all the naysayers of the changes but I am having a lot of fun with it 10 hours in. I've played all the Doom games on PC and enjoyed every one of them to some extent. The parkour stuff can be a bit annoying sometimes but I can live past it.

This game has a come long way. I don't know why it says I have only played 33.8 hours. That is simply not true. I played almost a 100 hours. But I digress. I never had an interest in the MP part of the game. I was all about the lonely mellow SP adventure. It's a very nice game if you want to just chill out and wander around and build some little outposts, explore, visit some new planets, fly into space a bit.

It's not No Man's Sky. It is it's own thing. It's not about "endless" (including resource collection and space and planets). I like both games for what they are. But I had even had to nominate these guys for outstanding visual style. The whole game was originally based on a visual style to begin with and I think it's soft, smooth, comfortable, relaxing, appealing.

This app is pretty cool. Lets you customize how it all looks and where it goes. Can monitor all sorts of stuff. Seems like almost anything the OS can monitor it will let you monitor.

I like it.

I don't write a lot of reviews. However, this game really merrits one. I am not a big tycoon or sim fan. I always wanted to get into the Coaster Tycoons in the past too but they just didn't catch me. This game has just reeled me in. And hard. I can't stop. It's so addicting. I love making the coasters, planting the scenery, messing with the props and just seeing all the amazing creations of the community. It is mind boggling what some of these people are doing with the assets provided by the developers in the game. Simply amazing (props to you community contributers too).

If you want to make a theme park. Manage nearly every aspect. Create every building (or not), or create every coaster (or not), sculpt terrain in amazing ways (they made a giant freaking tree out of their terrain AWESOME), then this is truly the game for you. Micro manage it, build it, and just have fun making all sorts of stuff.

It is a true life sucker and I don't even have to hit space one more time for the next turn. ;)

Early Access Review
While still in Alpha this game is quite interesting. I havn't had a chance to spend a whole lot of time in it, but it does what it does so far really well. And be reminded that this is Alpha. It still has some bugs and some polish to go yet.

With that said, it has a nice begining to a story mode, an adventure mode (no story basically) and the typical creative mode (with everything you need to do what you want).

The real beauty to this game is a few things for me. You can create your own objects. Literally design them and create them with their in game voxel editor which become blue prints for you to use over and over. Voxel terrain so it deforms on the fly. You can dig a whole in that glorius terrain, no problem. You can build a house with nearly any shape you can think of. You can design your own helmets, weapons, vehicles. I said "design"... you can create pretty much "anything.

This is my kind of sandbox and I backed it early on for about 20 bucks. It's totally worth it. If you want Minecraft on mega crack... this is the game for you.
