MARVEL SNAP is fast-paced (6 turns per game in general) and simple (12 unique cards per deck). The "snap" mechanic is utterly irrelevant to the game, so putting it forward in the advertisement is a bit weird. I like the diversity of the three lanes, and the fact that their hidden properties are progressively revealed during the first 3 turns of each game.

However, the monetization is complex and misleading. For instance, you start with a lot of resources and shiny box openings for the first 3 hours or so, then discover that there is a paid battle pass after you finish the free battle pass, and your progression is unexpectedly brought to a halt. It feels like you get very subtly hooked in the first hours, only to be brought to a checkout where you can spend tons of money to try to get the same pleasing brain hormones when upgrading shiny animated cards in a firework of sparks and comforting sound effects.
