If I can back Star Citizen day 1, then you can be sure I can back Space Engineers 2 on day 1.

But for anyone looking to buy this game, be clear on exactly how early this early access is; check the roadmap and the current release before buying. On day 1 there is no game here.

Gosh 100+ in Beta plus 50+ hours post launch... yeah you could say I'm enjoying this game.
Mostly the core gameplay loop is really good. Are there still things that need improvement, sure, but the development team release daily update and make changes rapidly based on feedback.

It's a good game right now, and will only get better. It's not hard to improve a game which is already engaging. But if the basic activities weren't good there would be no hope.

Also a giant portion of the negative reviews are based on performance issues at release (a FOV bug) which has been fixed

Many space trucker hours later. It's pretty good. Wish there was more of a game here though.

Really good, lots of depth and it takes a while to 'get it' but when I went from just waiting for stuff, and actually building bases and traveling around, it really opened up and now I want to take over the whole cluster mwahahaha

Always like stealing and pulling apart ships in Space Engineers, this is that but with more focus and complexity. Now that there's a "no stress" setting... and keybindings... it's great. I look forward to see what the final release ends up being. BTW at the time of writing this Hardspace Shipbreaker has only been available for a month or so and there has been rapid development; always a good sign.

Started out unsure of the game, but before long I got totally sucked in and my need to build more, and bigger kept the interest strong

Come for the slaughter stay for the depth. This game is amazing fun, and very easy to jump into. However there are layers of depths you might not notice or expect. Part of this is due to how little info you get about the game up front, but do some reading, watch a youtube or 2 and you'll discover the hidden layers this gem has to offer.
