Looks amazing, sounds amazing, just downright amazing. The story is extremely engaging, to the point i played a good 14 hours of it in one day (whether that speaks to how sad of a being I am, or how good the game is, is up to you). Mostly just a visual novel, with really well written worldbuilding and characters. It feels like not just a sequel to The Silver Case, but also a sequel to TSC that learns from the games that came before it, not just in TSC series. Definitely worth it if you liked TSC, but be sure to play Flower, Sun and Rain first, as it is a sequel to TSC and part of the series.

For the chapters, be sure to play them Correctness > Matchmaker > Placebo for the best experience.

The Gameplay:
The game is extremely well designed. Everything is well made, and the puzzles are challenging but intuitive. It is similar to an isometric Resident Evil or Silent Hill game, and it becomes very engaging to solve the puzzles and areas it presents. A must have for fans of either series, or horror in general.

The Story:
Signalis is a game that wears its inspirations on its sleeve. Blending together Resident Evil's area-puzzle action, Silent Hill's atmosphere and story telling, the visuals of PS1 games, Myst in certain points, Blame!, NieR, and a lot more. However this does not make the game derivative or unoriginal. It manages to use these inspirations to remix imagery and ideas and create something extremely unique and impactful.

Everything serves the narrative. The surreal imagery, isolating gameplay, the intense and vibrant world that sucks you in, and the obtuse and unordered storytelling. These elements come together to paint a tapestry of emotions that leave the interpretation of events up to the player. The player is meant to piece together their own reading, which allows the game to be more impactful. It is in my opinion a masterpiece because of the tight marriage of engaging and fun gameplay, with this intense and emotional story. How will you interpret it? How will the game impact you? Play it and find out...

Also, I just really like robots :P
