The game generally runs like doo doo dog water. Anything past fifty meters is a constant blur and gives you a headache. The AA in this game is really just terrible. I don't know where they went wrong or if it's just Unreal 5 in general. I have tried every fix and every file edit/etc. It is PLAYABLE, but the AI sucks, the visuals really hurt your head past fifty meters, and it's really buggy. I would definitely let this one settle for a while. Before anybody asks, yes I have an up to date system with everything running correctly on it.

The absolute best Warhammer 40k experience a person can have. The game looks great, feels great, and the controls are tight. The campaign is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ legendary with a specific moment involving a certain chapter master, and overall I'm pleased. Most of the time 40k games are pretty mid but this has beat that stigma. I would recommend this game to ANY and ALL 40k fans just for the campaign. But the multiplayer is a fun grind and the operations are a sweet cherry on top.

The BASE for a good game is here, and I might even say that it could outshine tarkov when it's actually complete. However, due to the enormous frame issues and gameplay issues, I would let it bake in the oven a little longer. The frame rate issues CAN be fixed if you fiddle around with your CPU/GPU settings and also your in game settings but to an average gamer it needs heavy optimization. It has a multitude of in game issues regarding gameplay such as LZ camping, headless people, hit registration, gun imbalance, etc. It's got a long way to go and of course it's only in EA but as I said I would either purchase it and wait or just wait all together. As I said it's a good BASE for a game and I hope it doesn't get abandoned.

I am completely immersed, I have not felt this way with a game in a very very long time, probably since the first DayZ mod came out for Arma 2. I keep playing this game and haven't put it down since I touched it. This is truly an RPG where everything you do matters. This is what games are supposed to do, drag you in and keep you hooked. This is hands down my favorite game of the past probably five years, and I'm not even finished with it. There's just that feeling of connection and immersion that you get with games that trip your trigger, this is one of them. 10/10

Favorite part of the game is also the only part of the game, the loading screen that shoots down to one FPS and then freezes. Ya'll dropped the ball after Reign Of Kings and I thought this was gonna be different, but this is worse than the Anthem release. At least Anthem worked.

This game is great. You can run around for literal hundereds of hours. You will not get bored. However, I want you to compare this game to FNV and also the older Elder Scrolls and Fallout series games like Morrowind and Fallout 1 and 2. This is NOT a roleplaying game. The options for speaking to NPC's are run arounds, and there are not quests that make you feel like you're making your own decision. If I would not have played FNV first, or the earlier games, I would've loved this game. But seeing the transition from great roleplaying and decision making to almost null, is disgusting. Great game, don't expect it to be the full fallout experience. It's run, shoot, level up. That's it. You don't roleplay.

It's been like 7 or 8 years since I first played the mod on Arma 2. When SA came out, I was hopeful. The first couple years of Standalone were absolute garbage. Like almost unplayable. Even though there are still bugs and such, I suggest buying it now. It's a good time and with mods it's the closest up to date experience you're going to get to the old school mod.
