Don't buy this. They are bringing out a new game with all the bling they promised for this release. This one will not get DX11. Oh... and your saved characters won't be able to be imported to the new version.

Yes... this game is awesome. I prefer DS1 though, which fels even harder. I played DS1 through and started DS2 short after. Later on wrote a comment that DS2 is much easier... later finding out I was actually playing the game on NG+ diffculty in a NG making it even harder. Tbh, I have nothing bad to say about DS2. Loved it... still do, but there is no sense in buying a game that is being released again next year and you can't impoert your character. Believe me, you work VERY hard on your character. Maybe give DS1 a bash first. They just finished the full Steam migration, so it is good to go.
