It's hard, but it's engaging. You die a lot, but learn to cope with the situations. Some deaths are just unfair, but often you learn to be more careful, especially with low health. This game is one of those you will quit saying it's ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ yet run again in 10 minutes. The spell system is great and deep, the physics of materials, the interactions, the hidden stuff, a lot to learn and find. A deep game.

Oh - and carry some water all the time.

Frequent updates, lots of great tweaks. Still ways to go before being a truly remarkable game in every regard, but the boxes are being ticked every update.

A great game with high skill ceilings and goofy loadouts. More serious after the MyM update, which is a good thing.

Early Access Review
Mouse look is seriously broken on linux. Setting sensitivity to max (3.0) is not enough (Even if I have 1600 DPI set on my mouse). The mouselook is still slow and sluggish. The mouse sensitivity setting in options is a category for itself - it only wraps around down, from 3.0 -> 0.1, but not the other way, and one has to click increments (0.1), holding mouse does not work. I had to click 30 times in numerous occasions. There is no slider from 0.1-max to make setting the sensitivity easy.

Furthermore, the mouse look seems scene complexity dependent, suggesting a badly implemented game loop timing code.

The game is not playable as it is because of this.
