I guess I didn't review this on completion, but since then I've gone back and completed Dark Souls: Remastered, Dark Souls III (almost lol got burnt out), and started Dark Souls II, and I can satisfyingly say, this is an exceptional addition to the series. Great map, lots of unique and interesting weapons, armours, weapon arts, and so much more.
As far as boss fights, main bosses are pretty cool, fun to fight for sure, most of the filler bosses are mediocre, and just feel like normal enemies with a bloated hp pool (which 8 times out of 10, they are just normal enemies with a bloated hp pool lmao)
overall 93/100 game, I had a lot of fun, and I could absolutely tell this was the mastering of years of games and content, gg wp

Edit: I have now finished DSR, DSII: SOTFS, and DSIII with 100% achievements on Steam, completed Demon's Souls on the PS5, and have amassed well over 1000 hours total with the Souls series. I can easily say this absolute masterpiece is the reason I took the time and gathered the motivation to complete such tasks.
This series is absolutely phenomenal and has become one of the most important things to my person and interests. I love you Dark Souls, for changing my perspective on gaming forever.
