A very unique and interesting experience, mechanics are simple but unique had a good time just climbing up. I got really far too and it wasn't too hard.

Then I fell.

Then I came back up and then I fell again even more.

10/10, need a new pc now

Update:
I went back and climbed to the top. Very nice ending, great job!

A game of a decade for sure. A must-play, truly an AAA quality game we've been waiting for, gameplay, graphics, story, combat, details, motion capture, animations, music, voice acting, everything is so good, just play Devil May Cry 5, SSS/10.

Very Silent Hill inspired but in a good way, creepy all the way through, also gets way creepier later on in the game.
Story is being told through notes, visuals, items and other stuff you see and hear in the game, very subtle and well though out. Also there's combat, which sets another layer of horror itself, you're always have to be ready to defend yourself, and yes, you will need to do that.
There are also additional tapes that bring even more content to the game, showing its strengths in different environments in various new ways.
Recommend to everyone enjoying good horror games.

This game is interesting, a lot of stuff to talk about, SPOILERS AHEAD!

Concluse is very minimalistic in its graphical design but has a lot of details in it. It looks like quote on quote "PS1 graphics game". That is probably intentional but I think the models and textures could've been done a little better in some places. But nonetheless that didn't make the experience worse in any case.

The plot and "monsters'" visuals remind of Silent Hill 1 or Silent Hill 2. A guy goes into a hellish place to find his missing wife (or girlfriend, I don't recall), similar to Harry Mason going after Cheryl in SH1. But in Conclusethe scary stuff happens even before you go to Hell.

I liked that the game doesn't use jumpscares but rather creepy cutscenes and notes that build the atmosphere even if nothing's out there. The 3rd video tape was very creepy and I legit was creeped out to turn around haha. Then the note in the women's bathroom really creeped me out cause then I had to go check the toilets where should be a creepy lady like the note said. After some time I realised there will be no threat and I can relax and concentrate on the puzzles. But then it surprised me when I was locked in a room with a monster and I had to do something, so that was well done (also the solution by loading the 5th mysterious save file was very unique, thumbs up on that). Also the lady from the subway train and later her body was making me very nervous too. So in the end, the devs made it through without anything like jumpscares, stealth mechanics or monsters chasing you down, but still kept the creepy factor throughout the game and the feeling that "you're not safe".

The plot could be expanded in my opinion. A guy goes to find his loved one and there's a line between our world and horrifying evil world. There's not much explanation about that demonic world. If I'm right and you're inspired by Silent Hill games, then in SH there was a cult, a town of Silent Hill and other mysteries that more or less explained the demonic world, the christian religion and the other side - cult and its beliefs. The first SH game had the monsters from Alessa's nightmare, the second game was about the people who visit Silent Hill and what manifestations (monsters) they see and fight and so on, but in Concluse I wanted some kind of explanation on what are they or why are they here. UNLESS it's gonna be explained in the later games. One monster from Concluse was very similar to Pyramid Head, at least the contours of it cause it's all black and shiny, but I liked that there were many different monsters (or at least it SEEMED that there were many of them), I felt like the devs weren't lazy, good job on that.

The game could use a little more direction on what to do with the puzzles or simply where to go, it's at the line where "I know the information is out here somewhere" and if you figure it out by yourself it feels very good, but at the same time I had to use a walkthrough a few times just to gets past a few areas. I'm sure some oldschool horror fans will appreciate those puzzles, although there were a lot of "find the key" types of deals.

The cutscenes were very well done, the animations and sound, very movie-like, thumbs up on that! And the music is so on point, I really loved it, the composers did an awesome job!

The biggest thing I wasn't a fan of is that it was way too dark at first, especially in the hospital and sewers, I got a little frustrated, and I wish that LED light would've done a better job. When I found the flashlight later then it was fine, but before that I just couldn't see most of the areas. And I wish you could skip the intro cutscene when you open the game or at least make it skippable after the player watched it. It's not too long, but still.

After all, it was quite a long game and had good thoughtout puzzles with creepiness and even extra optional stuff everywhere, I'd suggest working a bit more on the plot and do something about the dark areas where I couldn't see anything.. And just keep going with what you do! The "next time on Concluse" at the end showed some really cool and creepy stuff, I can't wait to play more of this!

Good looking graphics, fun gameplay but jesus christ the puzzles are clever and takes time to find a way. Third person controls, running, jumping, exploding dynamite, all in all, fun and enjoyable experience, you don't usually see such unique thoughtout puzzles in games.

Catch the carrot mode is randomly generated, every time you play it's different, thumbs up for replay value!

Very nice and brutal shooter, very fun to play and a good time waster in general. Appreciate the variety in enemies, upgrades and locations.
