So after the storm that 1.0 was, FFXIV ARR and everything beyond that has been PHENOMINAL. The story is amazing, the gameplay is great, the people you meet can be ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ but hey, welcome to MMO's. There are great people out there, those who will show you the ropes, show you what you need to do, teach you your job.

I really do recommend this game if you want to get into MMO's or you're a fan of the series as this game does make callbacks to practically every Final Fantasy so far...
