Even in its current form in early access, shapez 2 is an absolute delight. A management game that quickly shows its hand as a puzzle game, it distills down only the great qualities of games like Factorio and Satisfactory into an experience which allows you to focus on sheer factory design - the best part!

It manages to do all this without moving too quickly. shapez 2 does a remarkable job of teaching you one mechanic at a time at your own pace. Once the game opens up, letting you expand out from the vortex by placing your own platforms, shapez 2 sends you off into the vast galaxy to scale up on your own from there, which is where the real fun begins. All without having to worry about building costs, resources, enemies or timers.

Highly recommended. I can't wait to see where the game goes from here.

One of the few games in recent memory that I wish I could experience for the first time again, even though I just did. A masterful example of game design. What a treat.

It’s 9pm. Numbers go up. Mult makes numbers go even way more up. Brain releases chemical endorphins. Coyote man can’t help but play one more run. It’s suddenly 5am.

There will be no hope for me once the mobile port launches.

I’ve gotten so many weird looks on the train from playing this for weeks on the Steam Deck. 10/10.

A beautiful little marvel of a game. The 8-bit graphics and beautiful score envelop you into the world of amazing atmosphere and head-tilting dialogue. Confuse / enlighten all your friends with Twitter integration. Must buy and play for the casual and hardcore gamer in all of us.
