Glad you're enjoying it mate. I enjoyed the reboot more than the originals purely because there was far less of the whole "suddenly falling off the edge into a bottomless" pit kind of thing. Tho i really wish they had also abandoned the QTEs while they were at it.

This is a RPS post which I copies here. It's damn official that just like I've been saying all the time these 4 last years that the consoles have made sure that PC gamers haven't had to update to new systems in quite a while. Now this is a good thing as it has made the indie developers far more appealing instead of having to be 1 step behind the big developers. And let's face it. The only reason why we're upgrading our computer is to be able to play the next bloody Elder Scrolls game or Total War or whatever.

Consoles may suck but damn am I grateful that they do!

I pretty much agree with everything this review says about it. Tho i still feel that it is a great game all the flaws he points out are things than i'm consious of and feel have let down the game over all. Also i completely agree with his final statement that this shouldn't have been "Dragon Age 2" but more of a "Dragon Age: Kirkwall" and let us have a proper sequal which is just as epic as the first and doesn't end with a flipping cliffhanger! With the main plot the game establishes a lot without giving you any sort of resolution, which would have been better for an expansion pack than a sequel.

Ultima Underworld was an old vintage game I discovered through SpoonyOne's retrospectives on the Ultima series. It's sodding awesome in some ways. For the last few hours I've been doing nothing except learning the magic runes in the game. I've written down all the spells on a paper and memorized the runes and letter conversions. It's the same alphabet as the english though except the runes have names: An, Bet, Corp, Des, Ex, Flam, Grav, Hur, In, Jux, Kal, Lor, Mani, Nox, Ort, Por, Quas, Rel, Sanct, Tym, Uus, Vas, Wis, Ylem.

At last I found an RPG where you gotta study a little to become a decent mage. Too bad casting spells in the game is so difficult. Also the runes each represent words that you put together in order to attempt to get a desired effect.

Hey man. I downloaded the last ME2 DLC: The Arrival. Totally underwhelming, just as most of the DLC has been. You'd think it'll show you the reapers entering our galaxy and be all cool but it doesn't. You basicly end up delaying their ability to spread across the galaxy by destroying a Mass Effect Gateway and don't even get to see them enter the galaxy, it's quite lame. Still i uploaded a few screenies, which basicly are all the cool moments (which comes down to arriving at the planet with wonder in your heart (which dies very quickly) and the end which, to be fair, is very cool cause you do destroy a Mass Effect Gateway with a freaking massive ASTEROID!!! (Altho that does end up wiping out all life in that system so... yeah it's freaking cool!)

Finished Brothers in Arms: Hells Highway. Wow, that game is some dissapointment. Most of the game is spend in gloomy and dark areas. You go throughs Baker's inner demons (which isn't that interesting) and not a single level that were in the preview of this game comes up again. This game even took steps backwards from the previous games by removing the assault command, melee and jumping. There's no healthbar either but you have some kind of risk meter that fills in. The areas have very few flanking positions too, forcing you to take matters into your own hands because your own men cannot do anything else than hug cover. The most sad part in the game was when Red got paralyzed in the ending and the ending is itself just says: To Be Continued. Man, this game blows.

Mate i know i seem to be playing it a lot but that's the way i game! You should never interfear with a man's pastimes man.

Finished Mafia 2: 14,6 hours out of 10 €... well that's alright I suppose. Since I also played on hard, was very unforgiving with the cops and met the chapter 14 glitch (which forced me to replay the chapter all over) you can pretty much assume I did get all the possible hours out of the game. My verdict: For 10€ it's acceptable but their prefered price is a no-buy!

I just concluded that Dungeons isn't such a great purshase after all. It feels more or less like an extended demo. Very few of my expectations were met with this game really. (2/6)
