The one thing that really took me in when I started Monster Hunter was how different each of the 14 weapons in the game play. Each one forces you to change your playstyle and could be featured in their own game. There is complexity and depth to every weapon, even the ones that seem simple at first.

Then there are the fantastic monsters, an amazing gameplay loop, and a really fun crafting system. After all that the cherry on top is the really fun sense of humor the world has. From cats that make you a meal to really hilarious hunts. Monster Hunter has made me an obsessed fan in under a year. It is one of the best game series I have played.
