First of all, this game is hard to start on. Dont let it scare you because this game is worth it on the long run! It has workshop support and there are so cool mods.

In short you can (for some things you have to grind a little):

• Recruit people to your party (name your own faction and put people in different groups)
  
• Be a lone wolf or join existing factions, or end up being a slave
  
• Hunt bounties
  
• A choice of different way of combat and stealth is an option
  
• Build your own settlement(s). Farm, mine and craft your way to the top (a huge plus is that you can make your recruited men have several automated tasks)
  
• Explore (dangerious) lands to get your settlement better technology to build on
  
• Train your men/army to withstand attacks
  
• See your men grow in skills and craft better armour, weapons and machines for your faction
  
• Smuggle drugs and sell them for high prices
  
• A workshop and an editor to make your own mods for your own playstyle
  
• And other things i yet do not know

This game is a wonderful sandbox and it's one of the few games i truthly recommend, play your own way!

Update: Let's hope Kenshi 2 will be even better!
